What are your plans for 2025? Models and photographers!!!

I've noticed signs of 'burn out' this year. I'm grateful to be so busy but I definitely need to be working smarter and not harder in 2025 for my own mental health :)

I'm pretty laid back about the hole thing. I usually just keep an eye out and see who's on tour nearby and book them if I have the money or time to shoot (I missed you this year at Basford).

I am going to try to shoot some more BTS and attempt some video next year for reels and more content.

I've added a section to my profile notes on this very subject:

I'm starting 2025 with the intention of shooting specifically on the themes of some of the image groups on here, including:

• Anonymous Allure
• Black & white portraits
• Boudoir (non-nude)
• Denim at its finest
• Naked Music
• Shower Time
• Urban portraits
• You've got to know where your towel is

It's not so much a case of specifically wanting to add to those groups, more that it will give me specific focus rather than arriving at a shoot and trying to wing it.  I will also be aiming to add more narrative to my pictures.

I shall have to see how long that plan lasts! :')

I been doing this for a long time, but 2025 will likely be my last with model photography, my passion of wildlife is calling me back

I am already planning ahead 😃

Perhaps you already know my plans 😃 until November 2025 (Cyprus) if I don't break my leg in Chamonix.

No more cameras or lenses for me. I am very happy with my equipment.

2025 is going to be a combination of shooting models and wildlife as I am planning a trip to Finland (tundra) in search of brown bears 🐻

I will try to keep a balance but definitely "itching" to shoot.

Assuming the Achilles allows me to do so (it scuppered my plans for the last four months):

Finish shooting on every London Underground line with the same model (Hayley).

Shoot at London locations more in general.

Shoot in Budapest with Aurora (had to cancel it last month).

Shoot with some models on my WTWW list.

Try and get to different studios (still haven't made it to Basford Hurst!).

Expand on my Musicals themed shoots.

That'll do for now...

Next year will be my second year doing modelling on a full-time basis, so I aim to keep as busy as possible!

I look forward to a variation of opportunities, from joining new art groups, to re-visiting many studios and (if the weather complies) doing many location shoots 😁

Diary is filling up nicely for the start of the year :)

Fitting in as many modelling and photography jobs as possible, got a mini tour in Scotland in April planned, and a list of projects I want to get done including another photobook on my photography side.

And as always, have fun with it all!

I haven't done any model shoots in just over 2 years, in fact I have done very little of anything photography related in that time, for a variety of reasons. I'm currently planning some ideas for 2025, starting out with a few shoots with frequent collaborators to ease me back in to things. If all goes well then hopefully I can branch out and meet a few new faces. And if that goes well, then 2025 may also be the year that I make the switch to mirrorless. Time will tell.

I will be scaling back further on my modelling to concentrate more on being on the otherside of the camera.

Modellingwise, it will be doing more of my bucket list as 2025 will most likely be my last year of modelling with prehaps a farewell studio event which will have remote options for those who never got round shooting with me as I'm not local to them.

Is it wrong to say as far as availability is concerned, I'm booked out till April already.

Admittedly I'm taking January and the majority of February off, to concentrate on getting my coursework finished for my 2nd photography qualification.

But March is filled with bookings on both sides of the lens already.

I've got 4 concepts that I want to shoot next year so I am going to focus on those as they will require lots of planning and thought 😊

Will continue with a small current project I'm doing.

Maybe some conceptual stuff if possible.

May finally branch out into more art nude if I can find an idea and model which fits for it.

However, after some experiences last year and changes in family life, I'll probably be more "fussy" with picking subjects.

I've just returned from an awesome weekend in the Algarve with Keira Lavelle .

Come home to a few family issues which will probably mean I have to curtail thoughts of any trips in 2025.

Have tentative plans for a few day shoots in the pipeline.

But still have other avenues of photography to explore - various alternative processes including wet plate. As well as spending more time working with film.

I am planning to have my first shoot since my strokes and nearly two years to the day since I used my camera. Just got to find a warm studio with good natural light within Birmingham.

I completed and whopping 18hr day this Saturday and driving back I was considering why I am doing it to myself. You know what I am used to with the 8am to 8pm vibe but I don't know 😅🤣 can't manage it like I used too haha!
