The whole thing is so binary. I have an acquaintance who shoots a lot of fetish/erotic images. I checked out his book once. In terms of taste I'm not one for his images. I didn't find what he shot "titillating". But in terms of technical aspects, visual wit, and the like? It was fascinating.
I don't think it would do well here. I think he'd get grief from people who don't like that sort of thing but feel they *must* make comment.

That’s pretty much how I feel about all the Halloween stuff that was posted, a lot of it done well, some of it REALLY WELL but not to my taste
