Never had this before but Pinterest have removed some of my Pins.  Have they just become puritanical or is this something that has been going on for a while?

I've had 5 pins removed in the last week. Infuriating!

Lost one lat week for nudity.

Daily emails since saying look at these photos.

Probably going to delete my account.

Yes lots going all the time - mind you I do have over 3,000 on there.

Weird that they seem to disappear from private, as well as public boards?

I think they've probably fairly recently  deployed nsfw image detection.

This is why I think if you're going to save pins on Pinterest go directly to the website and then pin it to your Pinterest. That way if a user decides to delete their account then all of their pins are deleted. This is probably what has happened....

No it's definitely Pinterest removing them for NSFW reasons, they say so in the email but I've just never experienced it before and then overnight I get a spate of them

Had several removed over the last twelve months, as I was in hospital for a couple of the notifications I have no idea what the offending images were.

Yep, first one ever, last week.

BW nude ballet dancer. Very classic pose. Not easy to tell she was nude - so the AI is good.

Get one or two removed every couple of years occasionally 3-4 in one hit. The original poster has usually breached t&c from what I can work out iirc one lingerie style pin linked to a load of adult masked as arty and account removed. It might not be that pin but the others in a profile. It doesn't matter....plenty more etc

Not sure what the process is. They remove them and then write to me saying 'after a review we have decided to reinstate this pin.' Even more confusing is that they've stopped telling me which pin has been removed or reinstated. Most of the pins being removed are of punk rock bands and some nude art, but like I say, they reinstate them upon review. It's quite ridiculous. I'll probably delete the account. I'm not sure what is more annoying. The not knowing which pin was the cause or the daily e-mail notifications they send me. I'll probably delete the account.

Yeah, I have had a few in recent weeks removed with a couple reinstated.

I have several boards in use with lingerie and swimwear images so likely one of those, but they don't tell you which image it was so that doesn't help.

Pinterest like other apps are tolerated but they can be frustrating to use with their yo-yo rules.
