I've always wanted to shoot here.

Romney Marsh

Knole Park (Sevenoaks) and Hargate Forest (Tunbridge Wells, on the East Sussex border) both have more than enough space to find a secluded corner, though Knole Park is a bit busier in the summer months.

More or less any public woodland in Kent is "secluded" if you are quick about things -- e.g. the Tunbridge Wells Common, Haysden Country Park etc.

Footpath off the A20 at Bearsted, running south parallel to Otham Lane. River Len is at the bottom of the hill:

You can always shoot at the gardens @Burford Manor near Maidstone. True you have to pay but you have complete privacy for any modelling level. The grounds cover up to three acres and you have the Manor too.

Eridge Rocks nature reserve - open to the public but usually very quiet. There are huge moss covered rocks, a large meadow and woodland :) I’ve done many shoots there over the years and they’ve always been a success!

Can't really beat our southern sandstone :-) I've used some of the TW rocks that aren't in the High Rocks area in a shoot last year. Lovely. So much so I kind of don't want to share ;-)

brookland @ romney marsh looks amazing but can you get access to the inside ? just in case weather takes a turn for the worst ?

Probably only with permission:  https://www.romneymarshchurches.org.uk/fairfield  (Not sure that the custodians would be happy with a model shoot in there.)

Other potential locations are Battle Great Wood and Powdermills Woods (also near Battle). I realise that Battle is just inside East Sussex, but that's only just over the border from Kent.

As a local to the area i would always have a spotter. An amazing nunber of ramblers and random dog walkers all over the place. Perhaps I have just been unlucky but everytime I try to take something off somebody wanders by. Powdermill woods was like Picadilly circus. May be better to find local landowners as i do and ask to use their wood or field. It has happened so often that I kind of gave up trying. Then you are sure of being left alone.

There's two types of church custodian. One is 'yes that's fine, thank you for asking/no sorry, but thanks for asking' and the other is 'smite thee to death you heathen for asking this outrageous question, may all the locusts eat your crops and may fire ants live in your pants forever'

The latter sounds like my wife when I've asked if she's doing any ironing.
