I have a very similar image buried somewhere in the archives - took it whilst I was staying just up the road at Gwydir Castle - a fabulous B&B, if you’re ever looking for a spot to stay near Conwy.

I went to Chile a few years back.  Took a lot of pics that I'd not be surprised if they'd been taken before.

Well Ray's photo is better by far than your example...

People have probably been painting that bridge and the cottage for 500 years.

Most images on here are similar.. I fail to see your point.

There are no original concepts anymore, it's all been done before by someone at some point.

The old saying of glass houses comes to mind

Most locations like this in Britain, nee the world have been photographed thousands of times often hundreds in the same day and certainly before you took yours.

Can't believe this naming and shaming thread has lasted 90 mins. Admin have been on the thread as my comment has been buried, but the thread that also breaks the rules is allowed to stand?

I find it rather ironic that in his profile notes the OP states we do not have permission to share his images.

But he's quite happy to share others.

I looked but couldn't find anything worth sharing, think he's safe.

Photographing the same subject isn't plagarism.

Back in my flickr days I belonged to a Dungeness group. I can't tell you how many times I saw shots framed and composed just like mine when I thought I was being original. So much so that I often thought they were mine when I spotted the thumnail.

This will be locked in about 5 mins

But that's probably a well photographed spot

I can see that being a popular spot, its stunning

went to a known location of the weekend, the village was over run with landscape photographers, literally lining up take the same shot and leave within 5 mins

Here's a real case of two photographers being in the same place at the same time

Tabitha -- I think that Mr.Duckworth has come out of this rather well - it seems that a lot of people have viewed his picture - whereas the OP has egg on face. Just a guess, but I wonder if that's why this thread has been left to run.

Drives traffic, won't be buried until someone complains I reckon

I read about people observing photographers at Point Lobos California, "armed' with copies of Edward Weston books seeking to emulate the Master's viewpoints.
