Just had an email from Future telling me that they're accepting registrations for this year's show at the NEC Birmingham from 17-20 September 2022.
I'm planning to go on the Sunday 18th and dragging along Alibrooks with me.

found last year was a waste of time, only cool thing that was there last year was the Canon R3 (for the 2 mins i played with it, the wait was about an hour as people were pushing in)
nothing exciting released yet this year so il give it a hard pass
they need more lighting/studio equipment stands this year to make me change my mind...
I live near Goodwood - I'll go to the NEC - for the weekend and miss the traffic jams!

I'm in no rush to change my Canon 5DS as it's producing the images I want with the L-Series glass I bought for it, so I'm - literally - too invested in it to change to an R even if I wanted to.
For me, this is more of a social event where I catch up with everyone.
I would like to make it this year but so far I don’t see a couple of exhibitors I would be looking to see (Speedgraphic/Novoflex, Cambo). Mind you, I have not yet done the preparatory work to know exactly what I need to see/ask. So I will check the website again in early August I guess.

Why do so many good events clash. I have to say though - if push came to shove it would be Goodwood revival for me
