Marie was the first model I worked with when I decided to dip a toe into people photography. She was very patient with me and from that day I was hooked and we had many shoots together from then on.
I called Marie my photographic muse and along with her hubby Paul, helped me get through my many episodes of PTSD and we became very close. I visited Marie in hospital when she first became ill and even then, very weak and in pain, she was still more concerned that I was OK, than thinking of herself. Such a shock when I heard of her passing. w I will miss her .

I am so sad to hear of Marie's passing. We had worked together several times and I will miss her hugely. She would happily take on my strange ideas, often causing her discomfort. But she never complained nor critisied my attempts to achieve what was in my mind's eye, and usually we created some great images by working together. Rest in peace Marie, and sincere condolences to you Tonkatoy and your family.

Massive shock reading this, she had some amazing rope images on her profile and after I looked at them she contacted me in case I wanted to shoot anything similar, this was a long time ago but it stuck with me how like others have said she was very warm and even offered advice should I ever choose to shoot that style of images.

I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Marie’s passing. My condolences at what must be a very difficult time.
I only worked with Marie once and it was a great shoot, she brought such energy to the shoot. No doubt I would have worked with her much more often if she had been based more locally.

I quite new and I'm unaware of her personally but I still feel a great sadness for her life coming to an end. It's a hard thing to contemplate and for the family who were in her presence it's very hard for there suddenly to be someone in absence. My heartful sympathies and I'm sending hugs to all those going through grief.
