This is Tim. I arranged to shoot with him in Brisbane after seeing him on Instagram.
Like most of us, Tim has a story. For him, it was addiction at a young age that nearly destroyed him. He's recovered, turned himself around and is now a qualified PT with a growing client base - helped along, I'm sure by his considerably toned physique.
In this case, I wanted a simple portrait of Tim as I felt his was now a blank canvas, ready to paint his new life on. I was ready with lights, but as he sat, the light from the window fell across him and gave him everything I needed. It just felt right so I took the shot.
