I hope no-one was planning to go out there in the immediate future; or if you are, that your employer is going to be happy with you taking h+14 days off.

Going to Ibiza in Sep! All can change by then, but I am so so thankful that I can work from home anyway so not affected.
Strange that overall rate in Spain is about the same as here. Admittedly Catalonia is looking like places in the Uk with special measures.... meanwhile the beach areas favoured by the British tourists (and gangsters) have low infection rates.
I'm a travel agent for Hays travel. We worked from home up to 60 hours a week right through lockdown looking after all our customers and since we have been back in store (5 weeks now) It's been full on, re booking customers, solving problems and refunds, cancellations and trying to find people alternative holidays, often on hold to tour operators for 5 hours at a time, I'm gutted this is happening for my customers and for my team, I adore my job but it has been very challenging for us all in the travel industry, We are a resilient bunch but I hope and pray this doesn't escalate.
I've already told my work my abroad trip canned and going brean lol just incase any one tries grassing me up when I return
Cancelled all my holidays and not rebooking until next year.
It does pose a problem to schools as all staff are expected back First week of September and the fines for kids being absent are back on
One if my guys had to go to Spain for the weekend and now he's going to be away from work for another 2 weeks!
Strewth!
Thats going to cause me major problems. He ain't going to be happy either.
I think there will be a lot of peaks and troughs over the next few months as people try and restart their lives. Reported today by BBC Wales that people have been urged not to visit Wrexham Maelor Hospital A&E unless necessary, as they are having a new spike in cases.

I think we have to get used to the fact that there will be continual disruptions as long as the Covid family are around. I think it's a case of how we learn from and deal with them that will be crucial going forward.
