This is on an Android tablet, the more recent Google one.
The panel that pops up from a forum when one clicks the member, with a bit more detail, is fixed, left-aligned, and displays a bit wider than the screen. Thus the x to dismiss it is unreachable.
Turning the tablet 90° solves it.
Is there an option in browser settings for new windows to open with a "fit to page" rule?
In Chrome, I believe this can be adjusted in the Page Zoom settings. just an option maybe

Ah shame sorry just a thought
MidgePhoto is this the pop-up I get on my desktop when I hover the mouse over another member's name? That one vanishes when the mouse exits the window's area.
I can't seem to get it to show on my phone, though. Any suggestions? I'm half suspecting that talking outside of the window's area will also do the trick, and thus be another workaround.

When I do that, all I get is the browser's context menu (open link, open in new tab, etc). No amount of coercion seems to get anything else.
(Android/Firefox, Android/Chrome)
