Sorry I didn't know the owners didn't write their own code, I guess it depends on the current coding in place how easy it would have been to implement a suggestion like this, but as there is already a display for "SUMBMITTED FPI's" for everyone on PP, if that call is just an SQL it's a 2 seconds job to add "AND" username =. Hardly thousands, but I understand your point. Please understand I don't expect any ideas to be coded, it's only a wish and I certainly would hate to upset anyone with it.

I think you're talking about two different queues here?

Theres no real short cut but if you go to your portfolio and select - (Re-arrange your portfolio images) then top right grey cog select image manager, When you scroll through images in image manager those that are in the queue For FPI will show the unique line - (This image is in the FPI queue so its safety setting and member tags cannot be changed.) 

At least you can see whats in the queue, they can still be rejected from this point

I think the OP was talking about the "suggested" list, not the actual FPI queue?

I was referring to the suggested queue, along with Tandi I believe? I think Andy is referring to the actual queue.

I think that Andy is, too, but you also said "voted off", which also suggests the actual FPI queue?

How does it work? If your image is in the ‘suggested’ list, what happens in order for it to make it to the ‘actual’ list for voting and what happens to it in order for it to disappear from the ‘suggested’ list and not make it to the ‘actual’ list?

I don't think that images actually get removed from the "suggested" list, do they? I'm not sure!

As far as the Elves are concerned, the "suggested" list is just another place to look for possible images to put in the queue. I'm not sure whether they then remove that image from the "suggested" list.

If I suggest a photo for an FPI, I leave a comment. It's nice to know someone cares, even if the elves don't agree.

If the Elves add an image to their queue and it was in the Suggested collection, then yes, it'll automatically be removed from the Suggested collection.

The Suggested collection also allows images to "drop off" automatically after something like 3 months.  Within those 3 months, someone else suggesting it won't alter its position.  After 3 months, if it gets suggested again then it'll appear on page 1 of the Suggested collection.

The list, at least as far as I can see, only runs to 197 pages, a total of 8654 images, the last of which was only uploaded three months ago, and as a nice coincidence it was by ANDY00 . 

I guess something must happen to the older ones, even if they just get removed after three months sitting on the list?

I'd be happy for a notification to be sent that said an image [link] was recommended and is in the suggested queue.

I wouldn't be happy if it was followed by a statement of 'and it was recommended by [username]' unless there was an opt in.
