I am sure there are also plenty of opinionated and dispassionate people around who are probably happy to have a free membership or come on as a guest, but still get the benefits of being on the site, still view all the NSFW and Adult material and contribute nothing? Surely only paid members should be able to view NSFW and ADULT, the free accounts should be limited to SFW and not be able to create castings etc :-)

I'm so confused over what NSFW and what Adult is in the photography world when compared to the legal definition of Adult content in UK/EU Law. Surely ADULT content should be only available to those who prove their age (not by clicking a button I am over 18).

How the Online Safety Act is to be implemented is yet to be ironed out and as Ofcom are gong to be responsible for it, I wouldn't hold your breath. If you can just click on pornhub that you are over 18 and that's it then I don't think PP has anything to worry about.

Honestly the purpleprudes just need to get over themselves  (maybe that should be the name of the new SFW site).  Don't want see anything other than lovely portraits and fluffy kittens, don't turn on NSFW, it's really not that hard and it is a completely different experience.  But the resident Mary Whitehouse brigade would rather take a peek, sneer and look down their nose "oh no, not me, I'm not like them"  This is 2024 not 1884 you would have hoped that we'd have moved on since then but oh no not in little Britain.

I posted a B&W shot on a US forum where the model had a bare tummy and was furiously told by some it was “sexual” even though she was wearing jeans & had a cropped top!

The online Safety Act passed into UK law in 2023? The Act required Ofcom to develop guidance and codes of practice and then enforce them. It only applies as I understand it to pornography and photography is considered ART, isn't it?

it passed but they are still working out how to implement/enforce it I believe. It covers a wide range apparently.  As for ART and pornography that's probably for a different post but it's all pretty much subjective as far as I'm concerned, I don't pass judgement on what anyone shoots, people can do what they like as far as I am concerned.

As far as there being people here who are just wanting to look at the naked women (or men), there probably are but let's be honest there is far better "quality" available for free elsewhere.  Tell your fried to take a wander over to Adultfolio, PP will seem like SFW paradise by comparison.

Don't quote me but I think Ofcom starts enforcing in January 2025.

I'm not telling her anything at the moment she's ghosting me... LOL

Fully enough I've just had one of my recent uploads changed from NSFW to Adult. I wouldn't have thought to select it as Adult so it goes to show how the lines are so different for everyone.

There's too many prudes in the US, even in so called liberal states

Sorry, I follow you and I reported it to admin, seeing the undercarriage of another lady is a bridge too far for me. I only "Show NSFW" and felt I should not have seen it. If admin upheld my suggestion it should be adult not NSFW, then I guess they agreed.

What I like about PP is that you have the freedom to post pretty much what you like. I can’t post hardly any of my work on Instagram and I would class that platform as SFW. So it’s a no from me. 🙏🙏

Thanks Elodie Rose, I'm on Instagram too, Meta tracks everything you do cross platform, using and selling your data to make money and offering you a free service if you are prepared to put up with ads and willing to give them all the information they need to build a really profitable profile of you. Every now and again I thrown them a curve ball to keep them guessing.

Had headshots changed to NSFW before now....worry not.

I’ve filled in that thing to tell them to stay the hell away from my work hahahaha. Keep them on their toes hey? Good idea x

tandi haha you've got better eyesight than me - just a good example that what is art nude to some is adult to others so there will never be a case where everyone agrees.

As I mentioned before on the other end of the spectrum, I have some images that could be fashion but are NSFW here due to the clothing being made out of certain material so even a SFW site would have make those decisions
