Paris - 2nd June 2019
Paris in the Springtime has a romance all of its own. That’s why we have chosen the location for a whole weekend of sophisticated fashion photography. Think of all the iconic locations in this beautiful city, add an impeccably-styled professional model - and that’s just for starters.
You know the places: The Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Notre Dame but these are just the better-known of the many amazing backdrops to choose from. We make sure you get a really full flavour of Paris in your shots. Sunrise on the Trocadero with the ghost of that famous tower in the background, followed by croissants and coffee for breakfast in one of the many street cafes. A sultry dusk shoot on the banks of the Seine; here, we can take full advantage of the city lights and the reflective qualities of what is probably the most romantic of all European rivers. And these are just a couple of examples. Add to the atmosphere of each location, the time of year. Trees in bud, emerging blossom and all the colours of the French capital in Springtime.
Sharon Janney is a photographic model with a wealth of experience - and this style of photography is absolutely her forte. Casual or formal, daytime or after-dark, you can rest assured that she will always be beautifully presented and able to reflect the different locations. She is also a qualified stylist so you know that she will have perfect hair and make-up, whatever the mood of the shoot. Sharon’s wardrobe has been carefully designed to reflect the time of year and the rich diversity of this living, breathing city. The theme is very much Paris Chic and Sharon will be wearing a collection of contrasting day and evening wear which speaks of timeless elegance, charm and Parisian femininity.
Your Trainer and Guide
Andrew will be with you throughout the weekend to take care of all your photography needs. He has trained countless award-winning photographers and is no stranger to the streets, buildings and monuments of Paris. Because he has run numerous photography trips here to date, Andrew knows where and when to shoot for the best results and how to avoid the crowds. Having Andrew on the trip will really help you to make the most of your shoot time. He will be on hand to give advice on such critical topics as lighting and composition. You will benefit from his experience of setting up shots and, on the Sunday, he will devote time to each photographer on a one-to-one basis. It’s a winning combination of tuition, guidance and constructive feedback.
