Strange Playgrounds is pretty much what it says on the tin; a collection of stories written over the last decade or so of my own development as a writer; bizarre tales of surreal horror, even more surreal eroticism and the metaphysics that results.

In the interests of promoting the collection, not to mention the storm of creativity that seems to have coalesced around it (many thanks to my friends for their contributions. Also to Dark Moon for the opportunity), Nick has conceived the notion of a sister volume, which will be published independently, containing a number of visual works ranging from photographs to paintings inspired by the central themes of the collection. Anyone who wishes to contribute need only follow the link below, where they will find extracts from the various stories of Strange Playgrounds. What Nick and I are looking for are images which are redolent of the themes and ethos of the collection, rather than specific visualisations of events within the stories themselves. In that interest, let your imaginations go wild! Whatever you can conjure, however hideous, bizarre, inspiring, erotic, will be considered; nothing will be censored.
