Hey Folks, I hope you are all well.
I would like to offer a great day out to Photographers who would love the chance to take some unique and exciting images on the 29th May.
As part of Stephanie Parise's ongoing ShootOut Events the upcoming one is based around Fairytales and Conceptual imagery that will be a great asset to both new and experienced photographers portfolios. A bit of info (ok quite a bit!)
Who are we?
We are a bunch of Creatives based in and around the North West of England. Our aim is to help and provide opportunities for Photographers, of all levels, to build and expand their Portfolios. The team: Stephanie, of Stephanie Parise Photography Publish and Represented Photographer, Zoey, "Zedlist" Published, and very well respected Stylist in high demand, MUA's Rosie, Heather, Katharine, Charlotte, Siobhan and Amy who are all fully qualified professionals in Makeup and Hair Styling and the newest addition to the team, Myself (Gareth of CurvedLinePhotography) and I will be helping with off camera lighting and mixing it with the ambient light and a general all round assistant
What happens on the day?
We provide 4 models, each with their own creative and individual styles. The models are all agency signed professionals- images of the girls and guys can be provided if asked for!
Once you arrive there will be a small introduction, time to chat and get to know the other photographers from the day before setting off to our location - a small walk into the woods! Then you'll be asked to get into groups of 3 or 4, people who need more 1-1 with Stephanie (or myself) for help with camera settings, model direction and other things to get some amazing shots will be put into groups prior to the day. (simply contact us to let us know if you want an extra hand when booking!) Each group will be with a different model, this gives more 1-1 time for the photographer, you'll then move from model to model in rotation. There will be a few occasions of stopping, having a rest, getting drinks/snacks so the models can warm up and reposition! This also gives you some time to talk among the other photographers, ask questions, point out any locations you want to shoot in to our team etc Then the shooting starts again!
The day will end with a booklet of our top 10's: - top 10 editing tips - top 10 styling tips - top 10 creatives tips - top 10 portfolio tips as well as information on all of the models and the creative team, who to reference and all of our emails!
The Concepts: There a 4 different concepts of the day. (forgive my most probable awful descriptions, :-P)
|1| Female Model, dress made from tree branches, woodland crown, long hair. "Forest Queen" kind of feel. Smoke bombs and falling leaves.
|2| Male Model, suited up with a top hat, a twist on the mad hatter tea party look, but with moss and aged looks to create a "I've been waiting" feel. Moss covered tea pots and cups.
|3| Female Model, 'red riding hood' theme, with a darker twist. Red smoke bombs, amazing dress, wolf stock images, weapons, fake blood.
|4| Female Model, ballerina themed, swan lake style. Fragile, broken princess feel. Feathers and white smoke.
Final details: When? May 29th 12-5pm Where? Goyt Forest (near Buxton) (Further confirmations on parking etc to be announced shortly.) What to bring? You're camera of course! & all of your favourite lens! We recommend bringing prime lens! (As it is outdoors we also recommend bringing: -Walking shoes/Wellington Boots/Comfy shoes -Snacks and drinks for your adventures -Warm clothing: dependant on weather) How to pay?
The total cost of the day is £150. A deposit of £30 is needed to secure your place on the day, the rest of the balance must be provided before the date. If this isnt possible then please state when booking so we can arrange a monthly payment/contract. Multiple ShootOut packs are available.
