Location is FWPS-Studio which I own and manage, Vampire princess is the model and is very experience with inexperienced and experienced photographers and the lighting will be incredible.

Fourwinds Studio is pleased to announce we are holding 2 x 4 hour training sessions at Fourwinds Photography studio on the 25th Oct 2024.

The instructor is the resident photographer and owner of the studio and the fabulous model for the day is Vampire princess .

Both sessions will be 4 hours in duration and MAXIMUM of 2 photographer for each session giving a 2 to 1 ratio, absolutely no groups. We find that 2 trainees to one instructor works best, and trainees learn the most in a 2 to 1 format.

Vampire  Princess AKA Vampire princess will be available throughout the day and will be modelling up to Art Nude. As the trainee you will learn about using your camera in manual mode & different lens for studio work.

You will learn about strobe lighting in the studio including:

• Soft or hard lighting using different softboxes
• What is High Key, Low Key and Mid Key
• Ratios for different lighting effects including
  • Split Lighting
  • Feathering
  • Rembrandt Lighting
  • Butterfly Lighting (& Clamshell Lighting)
  • Broad Lighting
  • Short Lighting
  • Back Lighting

With all these techniques how to apply to a model(s) in the studio. How to direct and pose subjects.

Vampire Princess is an experienced model and will help with her bag full of poses but in the same vein will take direction so you as the photographer can become more proficient in directing models, rather than just letting models do their own thing.

The session timings are 09:00 and 14:00

Each session will be £180 per photographer booking

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available

Pre-requisites:

No previous studio work required however; your camera must have a hot shoe to fit the trigger for the studio lights. Ideally you should be able to set your camera in manual mode and know where shutter, aperture, ISO and white balance controls are.

A £60 deposit will be required to book outstanding payable on the day
