As September draws to a close, we have a wonderful treat for you - in company with the stunning Fleurdelis we have put together an extraordinary workshop focussed around sculpture and the earth.
Putting Fleur's experience in artistic nude and as a life-model at the forefront, we are incorporating beautiful lighting with small elements such as draped fabrics and hair wraps, alongside pieces of nature themselves - leaves, grasses and, for the first time at Studio Luminescence, the introduction of body clay to create texture on the body and face. This will create the illusion of a cracking surface: textural, captivating, emotional - communicating endless stories, ready for you to tell through your own captures. This is the ultimate fusion of fine art nude and story telling in the world of Gaia.

Combining the use of softer, nature inspired colours - gorgeous greens and complimenting neutrals - with drapery, simple and refined outfit and prop choices and lighting - our concept mixes natural earthly elements and fine art in order to create simply breath-taking imagery. This will be a masterclass in creative, conceptual meets fine art and nature - don't miss out.

The event is a group workshop - tuition* and guidance will be offered allowing for attendees to get the very best out of the day with us.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - with the combined experience of Fleur and the team at Studio Luminescence, whether you're wanting to learn more about the use studio lighting, some different ways to tell stories within your imagery, or you're just after an extraordinarily different fine art nude shoot - we've got all bases covered here. Everyone is welcome!

The event will present opportunities to make effective use of studio lighting, simple but purposeful prop choices and the combined impact of textures, clays and make-up to create a story and convey emotion. There may be a number of lighting set ups on offer, alongside outfit / headwear / body clay additions, that will allow you to create your own narrative in your collection of shots.

*Tuition will be offered as a part of the event - in the use of studio lighting specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques designed to allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the set and studio space. We will work through a number of captivating portrait opportunities, beautiful 3/4 length shots as well as the option for breath-taking full length imagery to capture all of the earthly, atmospherics.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
