Sara Scarlet Events & Amariliz events are co organising a shibari or bondage photography workshop.
This will be on 10 November at Style Haus Studio in Singapore.
Our bondage/shibari artist and photographic assistant is Amariliz Photography, a Belgium based portrait and fine art photographer with roots in documentary photography. Although most of his work is digital, he has a soft spot for large format analog photography.
He recently became interested in the art of shibari.
"As a portrait photographer I am drawn to faces and eyes. Nude photography lets me add another dimension: skin and curves. I tend to find beauty in imperfection, retouching of my analog images is limited to dust and scratches. The models remain as they are: Beautiful in their own way. Although some of the images have a touch of sensuality, none of them are meant to be erotic in any way."

Sara Scarlet is a Belgium based international freelance model. As a self proclaimed multifaceted chameleon she does not specialise in one photographic genre, but embraces a variety of styles including but not limited to fine art nude, boudoir/lingerie, portrait, latex fashion, fashion and conceptual art. She has been internationally published and is currently working on her very first photo book.
Apart from her work as a model, she organises her own multiple day photoshoot events, both in Belgium as abroad, most recently in Iceland, on the Canary Islands and soon in 2025 also in Scotland (with Amariliz Photography).
During our 3h workshop, a limited group of 3 photographers will take turns in photographing interesting aesthetic bondage/shibari creations on the model.
Photographic and lighting guidance is offered by Amariliz Photography.
The model will wear fashion outfits, lingerie and there will also be a (tasteful) art nude photography part of the workshop.
Make-up and styling are provided.
Studio backdrops and lighting are provided.
Both digital and analog photographers are welcomed at this workshop!

We plan to offer two 3h workshops, but there is also the option to book 1 of 2h private sessions, outside of the group workshops (limited availability)
