In our first collaboration with the wonderful Rosie, we are exploring the mysticism and curiosities of the fortune telling world as we create our very own emporium at Studio Luminescence.
Taking inspiration from the vintage styled gypsy fortune tellers of old, join us in our very own version, as we create scenes from the mystic wagons and emporiums from the fantastical stories of the past. Be mesmerised and discover divination, uncover the secrets of tarot and gaze into the crystal ball. Imagine... soft, low lights as if in the back of a tented wagon, with candlelight around you and mysticism filling the air, rich colours draped all around and a friendly curiosity filling the air. You are encompassed by the mysterious atmosphere... could your 'Fate and Fortune' await?

Allow us to present a unique and creative interpretation of the fortune telling world...
Expect a custom set filled with beautifully rich colours, golden trinkets and mystical props, lose yourself in the world of tarot cards, crystal balls and tea leaves as you shoot some epic images for your collection. With the combined experience of Rosie and the team at Studio Luminescence, expect excellence in both outfits and sets as you become immersed in the fortune telling emporium.

The event is a group workshop - tuition* and guidance will be offered allowing for attendees to get the very best out of the day with us.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - whether you're completely new to using studio lighting, you're wanting to incorporate softer and lower light into your pictures, or whether you're simply wanting to shoot Rosie in this unique and creative way - we've got all bases covered here. At Studio Luminescence - all are welcome!

*Tuition is offered as a part of the event to anyone requiring a little bit of help or guidance. Specifically, tuition is offered on the use of studio lighting specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques that allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the custom built set and studio space. We will work through a number of stunning portrait opportunities, 3/4 length shots as well as the option for full length imagery to capture all of the mystical custom set and outfit in its full glory.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
