As the year's end draws closer, we are determined to pack the most creativity and excitement we can into the time we have left in 2024!
We are more than excited to welcome Darcie to the studio for something a little dark and sinister!

In the story of a grieving widow who has inherited her estranged husband's secret fortune after his mysterious and sudden death... Join us as we explore the nefarious tale of a woman corrupted by greed and vanity, living a now lavish and opulent life without restraint. In a Studio Luminescence first, we create a 'whodunit' mystery ready to be captured on camera. It turns out all is not what it seems...

Follow along as we create a custom set around the concept of 'old money' and the infamous femme fatale. Expect luxurious, rich colours; extravagant props and accessories that not so subtly say expensive. As we creatively blend classic European, Old Hollywood and Femme Fatale styling, expect a version of Darcie not often seen on portfolios. Satins, silks, feathered robes, cigarette holders, wine glasses... luxury, lavishness and lies - who knows what you might find in our unveiling studio story. Take on this unique chance to shoot a concept that radiates classical beauty, yet oozes calculated evil.

In this tale, one thing is certain... "Murder & Money" go hand in hand.

The event is a group workshop - tuition* and guidance will be offered allowing for attendees to get the very best out of the day with us.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - whether you're completely new to using studio lighting, you're wanting to learn how to create a narrative in your pictures, or whether you're simply wanting to shoot Darcie in a unique and creative way - we've got all bases covered here. At Studio Luminescence - all are welcome!

*Tuition is offered as a part of the event to anyone requiring a little bit of help or guidance. Specifically, tuition is offered on the use of studio lighting specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques that allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the custom built set and studio space. We will work through a number of stunning portrait opportunities, 3/4 length shots as well as the option for full length imagery to capture all of the custom set and outfit in a more narrative shot.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
