We are incredibly excited to have the chance to work with the gorgeous Emsy Loo in her first mini tour of the Midlands this October.
Celebrating all things colourful in the world of flowers, we are collaborating on a workshop that plays to Emsy's strengths in both modelling and make-up. We combine the use of petals and pastels, presenting a burst of floral colour and femininity that is everything a flower focussed shoot should be. Expect delicate stems, blossoming buds and flowers as far as the eye can see, creating a dreamy, ethereal yet beautifully refined presentation - offering up the chance of some stunning captures ranging from fabulous full length to portraiture perfection. 

Floral inspired make up, with petals on the face and in the hair, we combine the ideas of feminine beauty and delicate flowers and take them up a level. Pushing creative boundaries, utilising emotion and editorial refinement, we aim to create a finely balanced beauty. Using some softer light for a bright and airy ambiance and some well placed neutrals in the form of drapery and backdrops, as well as a dash of Studio Luminescence magic and some seriously lovely make-up from Emsy - we offer you the opportunity to capture some floral focussed shots fit for any magazine publication.

The event is a group workshop - tuition* and guidance will be offered allowing for attendees to get the very best out of the day with us.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - whether you're completely new to using studio lighting, you're wanting to learn how to compose better pictures, or whether you're simply wanting to up your creative game when it comes to portraiture and beyond with florals - we've got all bases covered here. At Studio Luminescence - all are welcome!

*Tuition is offered as a part of the event to anyone requiring a little bit of help or guidance. Specifically, tuition is offered on the use of studio lighting specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques that allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the custom built set and studio space. We will work through a number of stunning portrait opportunities, 3/4 length shots as well as the option for full length imagery to capture all of our flower filled set.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
