REFLECTIONS - A project examining the mental health story of our own bodies.

This is a casting based on the evolution of a previous project: Human Body Human Space.

Body Type: Particularly interested in people from the global majority, but anyone can apply if they are interested. 

This is a collaborative project involving a professional writer and poet. 

The REFLECTIONS project is based on stories collected from people about how they look at themselves in a mirror. Our bodies tell stories, sometimes positive and sometimes challenging. This will be a project that aims to look at what we say about ourselves and how we present ourselves and are in turn presented to the world. We will be using mirrors and words in every shoot. 

We will help you craft a poem or prose for performance as part of this project and an exhibition with live performance will be held at a future date, with yourself or an audio recording made to facilitate that. 

This is unpaid, but, along with the exhibition, we are planning to create a coffee table book for distribution, and would make sure you got a copy, along with copies of the shots for your portfolios.

Please be aware that levels of nudity are involved in this project as it's about the shape and form of the human body.

This will be completely discussed with each model and everything fully agreed in advance.

There is no fixed dates for this project, as it obviously takes a while to create each piece, so if you're interested, don't worry that it has to be done now, or quickly, we have plenty of time to discuss and collaborate on the piece.
