5 DAY PHOTOGRAPHY BOOTCAMP

If you’re looking to improve your all round commercial photography and business skills, then read on!

Based across 5 days, this workshop offers a huge 30 hours of learning across a summer week this year..

Each day will present a different set of scenarios to understand, plan and overcome to help you develop your skills for every eventuality. 

Across the 5 days we will cover headshot and lifestyle portraiture with real businesses, advertising photography, product and food photography and the necessary business planning skills to back up all of those skills. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Day 1

We will be presented with real world scenarios from real business owners.

As a group we will discuss and plan the approach to headshot and environmental portraiture to ensure this client gets what they need for their business. Working both in the studio and at the clients workplace, we will deliver a dynamic set of portraits for use across multiple media. 

Day 2

Food, Glorious food! 

We will set up at a local restaurant to capture images of their delicious dishes. We will approach this is several different styles to ensure the client has a range of images to keep their social media as fresh as their ingredients!

We will then head to the studio to shoot a range of food products in a more controlled environment to create something truly special.

Day 3

This day is all about advertising photography and showing the clients product in, literally, the best light!

Working with a client brief and product user we will create a set of images both inside the studio and out on location so that the client can deliver a memorable campaign aimed towards a specific demographic. 

Day 4

We’ve shot products on location and in use, now it is time to create the magic in the studio.

Across the day we will approach a number of different product types to create a series of images, teaching you how to approach a wide range of product types.

Day 5

This is all about business.
