 Introducing the latest in a series of different events at Studio Luminescence...
This time round, come join us in our very own parlour! In a fabulously extravagant, Victorian inspired custom set built around the subtleties of soft candlelight, shadow work and painterly portraits - we invite you to shoot some wonderful vintage imagery, taking inspiration from Joseph Wright's artwork and incorporating some beautifully authentic outfits - its time to create some art!

Our workshop will focus on creating soft lit photos using an array of candles of all sizes, positioned to create darker, delicate shapes and shadows.
Expect a gorgeous balance of femininity and fine art, vintage Victoriana and more. If you want to create something different and use your camera to paint a picture or two from time gone by, this is the workshop for you!


  

The workshop is suitable for photographers of all skills levels. There will be tuition and advice on hand designed for you to get the best out of each change within the parameters of the studio and custom built set. So whether you are new to studio or model photography, new to low and / or soft light shooting or you're just looking to shoot a theme that is a little different - Whatever your experience, this event will not be one to miss!

*Tuition will be offered as a part of the event - in the use of studio and constant candle lighting where applicable specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques designed to allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the set and studio space. We will work through a number of stunning portrait opportunities, delicate 3/4 length shots as well as the option for full length imagery to capture all of gorgeous custom set and beautifully soft lit atmosphere.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
