We've long planned to do a workshop taking inspiration from the delights of the Mediterranean, combining potted plants with soft neutrals and botanical colours - we want to create stunning sets that deliver a beautifully delicate and natural atmosphere allowing you to create spectacular photographs worthy of the best portfolios. Take advantage of the amazing natural light studio space and our original mill-paned window, alongside a fantastic array of props and fabrics that make up our very own indoor botanical garden and orangery. 

So join us, step 'into the orangery' at Studio Luminescence with the incredible model LEnza. We are incredibly excited to announce our first collaboration with this absolutely sensational model. LEnza will be bringing some Italian flair alongside her many years experience in modelling to help us deliver a botanical bliss like no other. Ranging from painterly portraits to full length. custom set filled shots that tell their own story - you do not want to miss out on this epic experience as we construct our own potted plant and nature filled paradise at the studio.



 

 
The event is a group workshop - it will be a fully styled and tutored workshop with custom built sets, alongside specially selected props, decorations and outfits. Think cottons, linens and weaves - plants, pots and leaves - all things botanical to really elevate this theme to the highest levels.

Tuition and guidance will be offered allowing for attendees to get the very best out of the day with us. The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - with the combined experience of LEnza and the team at Studio Luminescence, whether you're wanting to learn a little about the effective use of lighting or different shooting techniques, or whether you're just after shooting some super creative imagery within this theme - we've got all bases covered here. All are welcome!

*Tuition will be offered as a part of the event - in the use of natural and studio lighting where applicable specifically selected for the theme, as well as different shooting techniques designed to allow you to get the best from the shoot within the parameters of the set and studio space. We will work through a number of stunning portrait opportunities, delicate 3/4 length shots as well as the option for full length imagery to capture all of the botanical beauty and soft natural colours.

What can you expect from a Studio Luminescence workshop?

- Individual 1 to 1 shooting time with the model; with ample opportunity to capture a number of frames before swapping out with a fellow group member
- Respectful shooting agreement with only 1 photographer shooting at any one time
- Only 3 photographers in the shooting space at any one time following introductions – with the groups alternating between main shooting space and relaxation space
- Time to review images, discuss with fellow photographers and tutor(s) and then time to re-shoot following feedback / group change
- Help, advice and feedback on hand from the Luminescence team; individually tailored to your level of experience
