Hello all.
I am looking for black models interested in being a part of an image I’m creating for the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge as part of the Black Atlantic; Power, People, Resistance exhibition.
The Fitzwilliam Museum was partially founded on inherited money/assets made through the Transatlantic Slave trade. I’m exploring the historical links the museum has to sugar and free labour, as well as how issues of labour linked to fruit production is still a controversial issue today.
Unfortunately I’m unable to pay participants for this project, though I will cover any travel expenses (within London). As well as shoot headshots/polaroids on the day for your personal use.
Please let me know if you’re interested and what your usually availability is like.
