Documentary Style Model Portfolio Film

I have recently passed a degree in film and looking to extend my career as a verité documentary filmmaker. To do this I need to build my own relevant portfolio and showreel.

To do this I will create for you a model portfolio video.

This will be a 3-5 minute documentary-style video with cutaways to relevant content.

In the documentary, we will discuss how you got into the business, your influences, your hair and makeup, your fashion, your preferred photoshoots and photographers.

You will need to provide your own hair and makeup artists. You will also need to book yourself a photoshoot with a preferred photographer and location.

The content of the film will be of your own shooting style and limits.

The lead time to create this documentary will be up to a week of filming and up to 3 weeks of editing.

The end product will be of a high standard, and provided in a broadcast-quality medium, for use by you and possibly other people you employ for your shoot. It will also be used for my own career promotion. This will not be shared anywhere until you are happy with its content and signed off by you.

The regular price for this kind of film work is £500 per production minute, so between £1,500 and £2,500, however, I am prepared to do this for the right person as a syndicated shoot.  I am prepared to travel anywhere for the right model as long as my travel etc. is covered. Any other people involved can be given access to it for their own portfolios at your discretion.

Any extra people on PurplePort wanting this same service, unfortunately, will have to pay for it but I am prepared to do it at 1/3 the regular price, with the provision I can use it again for my portfolio.

As this is cinema verité, I will be asking you leading questions, but in no way will I be influencing your answers, meaning that the end product will represent the absolute truth.

I have a current DBS and insurance, which can be provided if necessary, but please feel free to have someone with you at all times if it makes you feel safe.

I’ve worked with a lot of people in the past as a photographer but please do not feel put out if you do not get chosen for the free recording. The person chosen will be done so by my agent, not by me personally, simply because they will represent my showreel better, and for no other reason.

As these are my first workpieces since finishing my degree I have no work to show you of my own to show you, hence why I am doing the free/syndicated one.
