Ive done a couple of remote shoots now and found them not only interesting but challenging, lots of fun and rather productive!
It got me thinking why not do more 
after all, I have the kit!
My first was though whatsapp video with screenshots, the second - the shoot was discussed in depth, I took all the images unseen by the photographer at this point - but it worked for what we wanted to do - and then dropboxed the images to him. He was very pleased!
I have a studio setting, several backdrops, lights, gels, ringlight. Modifiers, smoke, low lying smoke and bubble machines.
Kit wise I shoot with a Canon 80D with many lenses including a beautiful 90mm.
Huge wardrobe, ridiculous amount of make up in the brightest of colours, even more shoes and boots - current count over 20 pairs of thigh length boots. Accessories and lots of props
£25ph and as is often not the case - happy to do just 1 hour :)
