Ideas to shoot

I've been mentally collecting various ideas for shoots for a while now, and now it's time to finally try and actually shoot them. I've put together google drive folders of various images to try demonstrate the look, style, poses, etc for each idea, but each idea is summed up below.

Some ideas are location based, and others are studio based. I have access to a studio to shoot in, just opposite the train station in Stoke.

The ideas:

Kirin Ads:

• Recreating the style and look of old hand painted Japanese beer posters. Studio

Fashion/Editorial:

• General idea. Studio or location shoots emphasising on fashion/themed looks

Night time portraits:

• Urban location based portraits at night time and using available artificial lighting (shop signs, phone boxes, street lights). Possibly shooting on film.

Vintage 80s:

• 1980s fashion themed studio shoot

Vintage 60s:

• 1960s fashion themed location or studio shoot

40s/50s pinup:

• Pinup style fashion studio shoot

Gels and gobos:

• Studio shoot using gels and gobos to create coloured highlights and interesting shadow patterns.
  

Cinematic portraits:

• Portraits with an emphasis on narrative and creating a 'cinematic' look.
