Studio 52

Studio 52 is a small studio located on the bank of the River Thames, private with off street parking. 

It offers a variety of shooting areas, from the plain white 'hi key' shooting space, to white painted brick, to plain brick back drops. There's also an assortment of patterned and coloured back drops. 

A large array of light modifiers from snoots, honeycombes to large Octoboxes. 

The studio is heated with wifi, tea and coffee. 

If you're a photographer new to studio photography, or confused about hi key, low key, beauty lighting.... you may have watched the videos and read about them but aren't confident in the setups, I'm always happy to show set ups etc. 

Studio 52 have been used for touring models, so if you're a model around the SW London/Surrey area, get in touch .

I booked Studio 52 for an afternoons shooting a couple of week back, and can honestly say it was great. I am always on the look out for interesting or unusual shoot locations and Studio 52 has plenty of these, from old sheds/boat houses to bridges to rivers (note the plural!) there is something for everyone.

Jon was extremely welcoming and helpful and made sure we had anything we needed for the shoot. I can throughly recommend Studio 52 to anyone looking for a studio or location for a shoot, I am sure I will be back.

I desperately needed a studio whilst I was on tour and at very short notice - and Studio 52 came to the rescue!

Jons emails and confirmation were super fast and professional and it was booked! Its always a little unnerving working at studios or venues you haven't visited prior, but from the offset Jon was extremely welcoming, kind and hospitable. The studio is in a large converted garage space within the grounds of his lovely home, with plenty of backdrops, lighting and scope to shoot in.

You can have the shutters up to make the most of the natural light or down to use the studio lights. There is also furniture and other props to use during your time here.

The garden attached was a wonderful space to use! I especially loved shooting against the flowers in full bloom and the statues were gorgeous.

The bathroom facilities are inside the main house and parking was a breeze. My sat Nav sent me half a mile up the road so you may want to get there a little earlier 

I would absolutely love to return on a future trip! Jon is a lovely fun character and I wish the studio lots of success for the future, Highly recommended to all! Helen x

First time shooting at Studio 52 and what a great location it is with its combination of indoor studio and outdoor locations backing onto the River Thames.Jon is a very cordial host and responded promptly to all requests for assistance.

The indoor studio has multiple backdrop possibilities and ample lighting with Canon triggers. The garden outside has a number of secluded sites and extends right up to the river. On the water's edge there is a lovely seating area and, joy of joys, a neat little bridge over a dock inlet.

Great location and facilities, good host - recommended. (I'm very envious)
