Hello Purple Port.
I am a glamour ( please Google Mick Capture ) and fashion photographer ( aka Michael Sheller in the fashion world, instagram: michaelsheller or michaelsheller_asianfashion ) published in international editions of Playboy magazine and I am planing to organise Playboy Glamour photography workshop at my MS Photo Studios in East London and I am creating this post to see if there would be any interest in such an event.
I have a few great models available for it and this is the program of the workshop:
- Glamour photography studio environment.
- Learn how US Playboy covers and Playmate pictorials were shot in iconic Playboy Studio West in Lost Angeles run by Hugh Hefner himself.
- Learn about Classic Glamour lighting :
- Light modifiers used for classic Playboy shoot ( zoom-spots, ring-flash, Fresnel lens constant light )
- Light layering ( with use of up to 7 strobes to light one scene )
- Shooting from different angles in order to gain interesting look and make the images look dynamic.
- Importance of style and styling in glamour photography.
- Are directing your shoot and preparing a mood-board.
- Working with a team.
- Shooting the model.
I would like the photographers from here let me know if they would be interested in such an event as well as I would like to hear all feedback and advice to make the event outstanding and the best it can be.
The studio has been open for more than 6 years.
