Looking for models who own a dog

I am looking to shoot one male and one female model with their dogs for a promotional portfolio for a new canine photography business.

Doggelgangers will offer dog owners the chance to be photographed with their dog in a way that reflects their joint personalities and characteristics. Most canine photography seems to be portraits of dogs, shot in a studio. But quite often, people are like their dogs, or choose canine companions that reflect their personalities and physiques. So why not capture both owner and dog with this in mind?

For example, the Greyhound is the Ferrari of the dog world. They possess huge amounts of energy, but they are quietly dignified and almost cat like. They are sensitive and generally non-aggressive and would prefer to lean against their owner's leg than rush up to greet a stranger. Could you be photographed with your dog and portray/mirror its characteristics?

You need to consider:

• I would need to come to you for the shoot and will consider models within a 40-mile radius of my location - Alton in Hampshire.
• Your dog must be, well trained, non-aggressive and good with strangers.
• Does you physique complement your dog's? A plus sized model, with a well muscled pointer, wouldn't work.
• You need to post an image of your dog on your portfolio.
• Depending on your dog, the shoot may involve you running and jumping with it. Getting down and dirty, or if a fashionable breed, dressing to impress.
• You will need to do your own hair and makeup.
• To reflect the softer side of you and your dog's personalities, I would look to shoot you both cuddling up on the sofa or just chilling at home.
• All shots will be safe for work - for obvious reasons. But you need to be happy to be shot in sports wear, a vest top and shorts or PJs.
