I am collaborating with a wonderful Japanese calligraphy artist to try something we've been planning for months.
Essentially Kashuu will be creating Japanese characters by painting the radicals (brush strokes) onto your body and limbs. To make this work we need:
-1 male and one female model, both of whom are likely to be either gymnasts or dancers - must have toned and lithe, supple bodies to create the shapes required
-Both must be willing and comfortable being nude - this is art nude; it is NOT pornography, although both models will be in the same shot for some of the pictures
-Please, no tattoos or chest hair, and that goes for the male too ;-Q)
-Both should be keen to do something artistic and experimental - we don't expect to get it right first time, so patience is a must.
The ink is water-based and has been tested on skin, so all good.
This will be a full day booking (5-6 hours) at a London Studio I have yet to confirm; I will pay for the shoot, although I will be working to a modest budget. All my shoots are great fun - the key ingredient.
I am a part time photographer and have more than 8 years experience. I work for either pay or trade depending on assignment.
