Comic Relief: London Models & MUAs for Comic Relief

Comic Relief is on Friday 15th March and I'm sure we all know the great work they'd do. Would like to do my bit as I'm sure many of you would too.

Have come up with the idea of getting together as many models and MUA's as possible on Monday 11th March at a central London location (am waiting to hear about getting permission from Hyde Park) to raise as much cash as we can.

The idea is that we do a group shot of as many beautiful people as possible, all wearing a red nose, plus an individual shot of all who come plus some other general group shots. Models can then source sponsorship. For a sponsorship of £10, every sponsor you source could get an electronic A2 size print of the group image plus your individual image. 

I'd like to get 20 models to take part, all of whom would be asked to get 10 sponsors (or as many as possible). Myself and MUAs who wish to take part can also do the same. This way we could all raise on excess of £2,000 (could be lots more) for a very worthy cause.

In return you'd obviously get a copy of the 2 shots yourself plus that warm fuzzy feeling that you've done your bit. I've set up a group donations page so that your sponsors can pay their £10 directly to Comic Relief on their website. ALL MONIES would go straight to the charity. Those who take part would get an email invite from the group donations page.

I'm a former publishing director and media specialist so would also let the press and TV know about the project if lots of people are keen. Whilst we're not doing this for promo reasons, this never hurts and if we get lots of quality models involved then I'm sure we'd get lots of coverage (would grant the press a free license to run the image with credits to all people involved). 

Please email if you'd like to be involved but please only commit if you're free from 1pm to 4pm on Monday the 11th (I chose a Monday as it is often the quietest day of the week for bookings). If you confirm your involvement then its obviously vital that you do turn up - no last minute backing out please :)

All you'd have to do is turn up with a red nose, looking amazing with a list of all your sponsors (including their email address on yours). I will then double check that all the sponsors have donated to the group page and send the shots directly to you to send out. 

Female, male models and MAUs wanted plus stylists are also very welcome.

Obviously, this can only happen if lots of people are willing to donate a few hours for a great charity, so will confirm the go ahead to all who email once I'm confident that we have enough people to make this worth while.
