Image Filter Enabled: How to view NSFW or Adult images

By Chris Cook, written 1384167983

There are three types of image safety setting for all images uploaded to PurplePort:

  • Suitable for Work (SFW)
  • Not Suitable for Work (NSFW)
  • Adult

Information about NSFW or Adult images can be found in our Image Upload Guidelines.

Images which are marked as SFW are always visible on PurplePort, but images marked as NSFW or Adult will only be visible if the image safety filters are toggled (ticked or unticked). If you view a NSFW or Adult image without toggling the image safety filters then the image will show as Image Filter Enabled

How to view NSFW or Adult images

Go to the purple cog (top right). Depending on the type of image you want to view, make sure that one (or both) of the following options (under the heading Site Options) are ticked:

  • Show NSFW images
  • Show adult images

You can also untick one (or both) of these options if you do not want to view NSFW or Adult images on PurplePort.

If you tick Show adult images this will automatically tick the option for Show NSFW images.

If you untick the option for Show adult images this will automatically untick the option for Show NSFW images
