So we finally got to meet Syd! There were lots of pre-shoot comms from him to ensure we were going to meet his requirements and then the man himself arrived in his V8 monster (we're a sucker for fire-breathing automobiles that sound like thunder :) :) ).

Syd is very polite, chatty and very interesting to talk to. He worked well with his model and they got on like a house on fire.

Happy to recommend Syd to studios and models alike without reservation.

Syd booked me as one of my first post lockdown shoots. As always, he was very clear in pre-shoot communication, and was able to provide with an ample mood board and wardrobe checklist- which for me was highly useful in preparation for the shoot.

On the shoot day, Syd proved yet again how much of a gentleman he is. He offered me a lift from the train station and was there when I arrived, not leaving me waiting around. Since i was a little bit early, we had to wait around until the location was available for us, and Syd made sure during that time that i was comfortable, providing snacks and good banter. We swiftly got onto shooting, and having had a mood board and outfits pre-discussed, we managed to shoot quite a few sets in a short amount of time. Syd will always be patient during changes, and prompts us to have breaks when we need to, something I am even more appreaciative of since he also does not like to go one minute above our agreed finishing time.

I hope to shoot with him again, he is a trustworthy, easy-going person and a talented photographer.

I have shoot with Syd for so many times now, we decided to do a hotel shoot in a very nice country hotel it was looking amazing. Syd has picked me up and dropped me back home. We had 4 hours shoot and omg of course it was amazing as always with Syd. We always have a good laugh and fun together threw shooting i absolutely love spending my time with him. Syd is also very professional photographer lets not forget how amazing his pictures and work always come out. I recommend Syd 1million% and i will always be happy to shoot with him. Hes always immaculately organised , full of ideas,full of banter and and excellent photographer. Hes really awesome and yeh I cant imagine a model not enjoying his company tbf 😅..

I hope he continues to shoot me until I'm cracking the lense haha!

I worked with Syd at bodyline studios recently and it was brilliant! Syd always has great pre communications and sent a moodboard to prepare for our shoot. Every time I work with Syd, we always get great shots! It’s a combination of his friendly Persona, bouncing ideas off each other and being a great photographer. I always look forward to working with Syd and I can’t wait to work with him again soon!

Another lovely shoot with syd. Hes a lovely guy and a great pleasure to shoot with.

He is very good with lighting and gives great direction, he makes his models look lovely and is just all round a very nice person to work with.

This is our second shoot and it was even better than the first , and I hope not the last.

Another Amazing shoot with the amazing Syd!

We had 4 hour shoot at studio X and omg Syd never dissapoints me!! We have created some really amazing pictures that i am so in love with we even made lots of nice video clips Syd is not just a good photographer but also amazing videographer.

Dont think theres anyone better than Syd! He is such a fun to work with and we always have so much fun and laugh at our photoshoots but at the same time Syd is so professional. We have shot sexy lingerie style and sexy dress up outfits, the pictures look incredible even without the edit yet. Everytime after a photoshoot Syd always looks after me and takes me for food and shisha to have a good catch up and we always have an amazing time there. Everyone who gets to meet Syd knows how amazing and kind and nice person he is. He becomes your bestie for life after you shoot with him he is very much recommended.

Fabulous photographer to work with, amazing skills, ideas, atmosphere and energy.

Have been shooting with Syd for as long as I have been on purpleport and have had an endless amount of stand out shoots, which have been nothing but exceptional results and amazing memories.

Syd knows how to have a laugh, how to work hard and also how to look after his models, always being a fantastic host keeping you well fed and watered.

I get to shoot with him again in a week or two, literally counting down the days!

It’s always a pleasure to have a photographer in the studio who is as considerate of the space as Syd; everything and everyone is treated with respect and the models he brings are obviously relaxed and comfortable with him which is something we are always very pleased to see!

Not to mention how under the current circumstances it can be tricky to get people to follow the necessary rules in place and be respectful, Syd has been with us 3-4 times in recent weeks and we are confident and comfortable to have him with us, that speaks volumes.

Highly recommended and hope to have him back with us again :)

Had a super fun shoot with syd at the flat the other day . Syd is a pleasure to be around,fun and bubbly and gets you in a good mood to shoot . He has bundles of enthusiasm and his very good at shooting both stills and video .

I’m so glad I got to work with syd again after months of uncertainty - I love that we’re so local to each other too :)

I’ve worked with syd several times in the short time I’ve been modelling and I’ve never left a shoot disappointed, his pre comms are spot on and he’s seriously on fire recently! His images are phenomenal - he has such an eye for detail.

He knows what he wants to capture from a shoot and always makes sure he sends over a mood board before any shoot (even when I do pack in the dark).

The time always flies by and syd is so professional - there has never been a time I’ve felt uncomfortable when shooting with him as he believes a models needs always comes first.

I’d definitely recommend syd to any model looking to work with him, he’s a great photographer and a great friend too.

I love my shoots with Syd he is not just a photographer but an amazing friend of mine now we have became besties after our first shoot straight. Syd and I worked together for the first time during my stay in the West Midlands after he travelled to the apartment I was staying in. All pre shoot communications were superb and I knew exactly what I needed to pack and to bring with me, he was very detailed and precise which made my job so much easier! He arrived on time and was raring to go. After a brief tour of the location and a quick set up we jumped straight into the shoot.

Syd gave direction well and was super easy to work with. We made the most out of our time, and between frequent chats and clothing changes, we created some amazing images! I look forward to seeing the results :)

Every time I worked with him has been a super positive experience, he is reliable, professional, NOT pushy and easy-going.

He also covered my lunch whilst we were shooting, which was very nice of him.

I say a well-shot and a well-fed model equals a happy model.

This was mine and Syd’s first shoot and I loved it! His pre coms were great, we’d spoke about shooting for a while and finally got round to booking something which I’m so glad about!

Syd had sent over some mood boards and asked my opinion on them, which was absolutely fine as I loved the photos!

He turned up on time even though he had a bad ankle, so shows his commitment to shooting! :) He’s such a lovely chatty guy, right from the the get go, he made me feel so comfortable.

During the shoot we had such a laugh which was great to make you feel at ease, there were no awkward moments. He shown me some of the photos from the back of the camera which look great already!

I can’t wait to see the photos and would love to shoot again for definite!
