I booked on to a lighting workshop Owen was running at TBG studios. Safe to say it was highly valuable! Owen is great at setting up shots and explaining the lighting techniques he uses (as well as general tips and tricks) and really helped me get the best I could out of the day.

Owen provided advice and guidance in the pre-shoot communications which really helped get the workshop going quickly, with everyone on the same page.

I had been hoping to work with Owen on a workshop or tutorial session at some point so was delighted to be able to do so. I can definitely recommend anyone who wants to improve their studio lighting and gels skills do the same. I strongly suspect I will be on another one!

Owen provided a tutorial session that went over many aspects of photography, lighting and how to work with a model.

I have gained soooo much knowledge from his tutorial so it was definitely worth doing.

Owen is a highly skilled and friendly individual.

What a wonderfully creative day I had working with this ever so talented man!

Owen is so lovely to being around keeping flowing conversation throughout the day, that and the fact he is one very creatively driven visionary.

Myself and Owen came together honour and recreate the outstanding artistic creations from Boris Vallejo, with the lovely Gia as a duet.

The day was full of laughter and the images speak volumed for themselves!

Already planning our next shoot in, 1000% would recommend! x

I shot with Owen for the second time recently, after responding to a casting of his and despite the many issues I had before even getting there it went pretty well! We shot at Studio De Lumiere with Morticia Avery, which was fun as I don't tend to work with other models too often!

Owen always knows exactly what he's trying to capture, he was clear with what to bring along and went through books of inspiration before we started shooting which gave even more idea of what the results would hopefully be.

I'm a huge fan of Owen's work and he is lovely to work with, so talented but also friendly and down to earth. The shoot felt laid back and fun, with jokes being cracked throughout. He was also kind enough to pick me up/drop me off at the train station and provided lunch for myself and Morticia. 100% recommended :)

Been wanting to shoot with Owen for quite some time now, was not disappointed and very grateful for the experience.

Been modelling for some time now, yet still get nervous each time, but I eventually relaxed.

Owen is a pro at what he does, in terms of lighting, effects etc, and I appreciated the guidance for stances, poses and boosting of confidence.

I had an absolutely fabulous shoot with Owen the other day, at Studio De Luminere, and as usual, Owen had some very cool lighting ideas, and style inspiration to bring along - the gorgeous gel lighting, along with smoke and swords, was an absolute success; played around with the laser and flash, with some harnesses and strong posing; got experimentally with projectors and plastic; and finished on a cinematic smoky portrait. The pictures are INSANE!

Owen is very lovely, patient, knowledgeable, artistic, respectful, and easy going - would highly recommend!

I've been lucky enough to work with Owen on a number of occasions now, both one to one and in a group setting as part of events and his own workshop. In all instances it's always a fantastic and rewarding experience, both personally and professionally.

Owen is such a great person and a fantastic photographer, each time we shoot together I am owed (but not surprised) by his creativity, know-how, professionalism and technical expertise.

Communication is always on point, very informative and precise, which makes it easy for me to achieve what the shoot aims for.

You can simply look through all his amazing work with various fantastic models to see for yourself. Highly recommended by me to all models, photographers and studios alike.

I look forward to hopefully creating some more great art together, thank you Owen.

Last month I attended a 'Peaky Blinders' themed group shoot at Punch Tarmey's Irish pub in Liverpool where Owen Lloyd was on hand to provide lighting assistance and set up some lighting setups that myself and the other photographers were able to use during the day. As with my previous experience with Owen, I found him to be a true master at lighting a scene and he delivered some fantastic lighting setups that really made for some stunning and dramatic images. Owen's work was excellent as always and I definitely recommend him.

I had a workshop at the Studio-De-Lumiere in Winsford, with Owen Lloyd, Everly Rose, and Rose Magdalene Child on Sunday 20th Oct. I’m fairly new to studio photography and learnt a lot from Owen with regards to lighting and the creative use of fog machines. Both girls were very professional but at the same time, they made the shoot a fun and relaxed event. I’m delighted with the images I got on the day, and would 100% recommend all 3 of them.

In October I attended a studio lighting workshop held by Owen at Studio-de-Lumiere in Winsford with Everly Rose and Rose Magdalene Child modelling. I am very glad I had the opportunity to attend as I found the experience to be a fantastic one with me getting to shoot awesome images of two amazing models while learning a lot about lighting from someone who is a true master of the art form. Owen's lighting set-ups are excellent and result in some truly incredible looks. And he is great at showing and explaining how the different light sources can come together to produce vibrant looks with the workshop not just being an enjoyable shooting experience but a very informative and educational one with me having come away with a significantly improved knowledge of how lighting can be used to make distinctive and stunning images. I produced some amazing images during the workshop and truly learnt a lot. If you want to learn about studio lighting from someone who really knows his stuff I highly recommend you check out one of Owen's workshops.

I worked with Owen on lighting workshop that me and Kerry (Everly Rose) organised between us so as I could learn a few lighting techniques using gels, smoke etc..

I'm glad I did this workshop as I have learnt a bit that I can take forward into some of my own work down the line.

I have admired Owens work for a bit now so having this opportunity to work with him has been brilliant and an all round good lesson.

I worked with Owen today at retro themed photography workshop at Liverpool’s Peaky Blinders bar where he was offering lighting techniques to other photographers while doing what he does best with his own photography skills too.

This is the third time I have worked with Owen and on all occasions, he has been flawless from start to finish.

The qualities he has are everything you could ask for from a photographer as he is professional, talented, conscientious, approachable and his attention to detail is second to none.

I can whole heartedly and happily say that the results Owen has helped create through working together have been some of my all time personal favourites so he is someone who I would highly recommend with absolute confidence and enthusiasm!

I worked with Owen for the first time and what a creative day we had! On arrival Owen helped with my suitcase and had a shoot plan at the ready with sets we discussed through pre-coms, he was very prepared which made for a day that flowed with ease.

Owen is a professional and experienced photographer who had a clear eye for what worked well and how to make it happen and boy did it happen!

Lovely gentleman, easy to work with and a talent it work with. He even provided a tasty vegan lunch with delicious chocolate to take way with me.

Had a fantastic first shoot with Owen. I was so happy when he approached me for a shoot after I've been eyeing up his work for a while. Everything from pre comms to organisation was spot on, Owen really goes above and beyond to get that perfect shot he's after. The amount of thought, preparation and effort he puts into his art is very much to be admired and should be an inspiration to all, it certainly is to me as I approach my work in a very similar way.

Owen is a gentleman and great to chat to, obviously he is a great photographer and I very much look forward to seeing what we've produced. I highly recommend him to any model, studio or aspiring photographer, and look forward to working with him again.

Owen messaged asking if we could book a full day shooting to art nude with him and another photographer.

Pre communications were spot on. I knew exactly what was happening before I even arrived in the studio. With exactly how he wanted hair and makeup, wardrobe requirements and even down to lighting setups he was thinking off!

He was so easy to work with! Making sure I was comfortable and happy, throughout!

He has a fabulously creative eye, which made for an epic shoot!

I would highly recommend Owen to any level of model and look forward to the chance of working with him again!

I had the last minute honour of meeting the lighting master himself for a 3 hour workshop and it was time really well spent. Throughout Owen was incredibly helpful and offered great insight into why lighting was being placed where and very quickly I was seeing amazing results pop up on my own camera screen.

Full marks to Everly for her patience as Owen described the lighting layouts and undertook small adjustments to reach the right balances, as well as talking through which camera settings to use. If you are familiar with lighting but wish to progress with your lighting creativity, ensure you take one of Owens workshops - I came away brimming new new ideas and a confidence that was missing beforehand. Highly recommended.

Had an awesome shoot today with Owen shooting for some lingerie brands I collab with. We also had Emma doing makeup and hair. Owen had lots of ideas for different looks for the shoot and to make them stand out and to be different. He had lots of different lighting setups to suit different makeup looks and each set was totally different. I was very worried about not being able to chose the pictures because I am so fussy and self critical and really hard to please 🙈 but I absolutely love the first pic Owen has done and am really really pleased with it it’s my favourite picture ever 😂 I loved what I saw on back of camera. Emma worked really hard on hair and makeup and we had a plan before the shoot for different looks to suit each garment. Owen was easy to work with and had lots of props and jewellery for the shoot. I can’t wait to see rest of images and would 100% work with Owen again and recommend him. Thanks for a great shoot… and he has the cutest cat.

So this was my first time working with Owen Lloyd. I’m my latest shoot yet!

His pre communication was spot on!

The shoot we did was something totally different from what iv done before and I can most definitely say I enjoy every moment!

I was made to feel completely comfortable from the get go

Our conversation flowed through out the shoot and we got on really well and had many laughs along the way.

He is very professional and has the most amazing eye for detail and a complete gentleman!

I loved every minute of our shoot and even more the images we managed to get!

I would most definitely recommend him to any model!

He gave direction brilliantly when ever needed and let me pose confidently

Saracen House Studio

Wonderful meeting Owen for the first time last weekend for his shoot with Gia. Owen's whole day was highly organised and well arranged and he'd brought a cornucopia of props, lights, kit and effects to realise the shots he had in mind.

I loved Owen's enthusiasm for the photographs he was creating, clearly a passionate creative and it was superb to see the out of camera shots looking so amazing at the end of his and Gia's shoot.

Looking forward to welcoming Owen back to Saracen House Studio studio again soon.

I shot with Owen for the first time at Sacaran Studio after applying for one of his castings.

Pre comms were super clear and he let me know exactly what shoes to bring, as it was all art nude and Owen provided everything else (as well as bringing shoes himself). He had a very clear idea of everything he wanted to shoot and sent me examples before the shoot, so I was completely in the know even in terms of lighting etc.

The shoot itself was great, with food etc for during the breaks so I was fed and watered throughout. I was comfortable the entire time and Owen was super professional and clearly knows what he is doing. He was also super easy to get along with and the 8 hours flew by, as we chatted in between shots and lighting set ups.

He was clear with direction when needed and provided props for me to use throughout which helped me to come up with poses and added to the images. He had some really cool ideas and I think we achieved everything that was set out in the plan.

Overall Owen was fantastic to work with and and he is a truly great photographer. He even gave me a lift back home after the shoot, since it was semi on the way! We got some really great shots and I hope to work with him again. 100% recommended.
