I've had the pleasure of working with Håkon on three occasions over the past eight months. Håkon is a good photographer who can adapt into different styles and layers within photography. He captures models in breathtaking natural landscapes, while also delving into the inner emotions of his models during more personal indoor work, crafting emotional portraits. Håkon gives a beautiful, sometimes slightly provoking visual shape to different aspects of his inner world, experimenting with techniques that create more atmosphere or creatively distort the image.

Beyond his photography skills, Håkon is a genuinely kind, respectful person and always attentive to the model he is working with. Capable of delving into emotions and meanings vital for the collaborative creative process.

Håkon has a wonderful summerhouse in the stunning natural landscapes of Norway that was so inspirational to work in for me.

I highly recommend collaborating with Håkon, particularly if you appreciate a connection with nature or seek an authentic expression in your work. I will defenitely work with him again!

I had my first shoot with Håkon in Baarn on Feb 5 last week and I've got to say- it was absolutely lovely!

Håkon is a great photographer and fine human being. He's friendly, considerate, respectful and he's easy-going and up for a good laugh. I had a great time with him and as I saw some of the photos I could tell Håkon definitely knows what he's doing in a professional way as well. I'd be happy to work with him in the future :-)

He finds it very important his models are comfortable and relaxed and I could definitely tell. No pressure at all, he was respectful of my boundaries and he communicated very clearly and overall in a great way!

I felt super lucky and happy to have the oppurtunity to shoot with him while he was in The Netherlands before moving onto his vacation- if any other model has the chance to work with him, I'd greatly recommend! You'll have an amazing time and end up with some suberb photos :-)

It was a pleasure to work with Håkon, he is a true gentleman and arranged a nice location, flowers and some chocolate for the shooting.

We created beautiful photos together and it gave me a lot of creative energy. Håkon is a very relaxed guy who takes the time to sit down, have a coffee and talk for a bit because he understands the value to make a connection with the model. I think this is super important because the more you feel comfortable together the better the images get.

I was really excited about the results and would love to work with him again in the future.

I have worked with Håkon 3 times since 2019. First time for a short shoot in Berlin when he was visiting and then he invited me two times to meet him in Norway for several days each.

Håkon has a great talent for combining nudes with impressive landscapes and I am so grateful for all the places that I have got to known because of our shoots.

He's also fantastic in creating more intimate/erotic pictures that show the person in a so lovely fragile way with so much emotion.

Authenticity is so important especially when doing (nude) portraits and I haven't met any photographer who can create an environment of trust that it needs for that better than him.

From your pictures but also from the things that your other models write on social media I believe that it is not only me who feels extraordinarily safe and accepted when working with you. It's a very wonderful gift to meet someone with your talent and a so beautiful soul to share truth and from that create so touching art.

I advice every model that has the chance working with him to do so.

Beside everything that I've written he is also a kind host and very natural and calm in his whole being and therefore it was very pleasant to stay with him for several days and enjoying good conversations between and after shooting time.

When taking pictures he is always highly motivated and works very efficiently (especially when it's outside and cold for the model) and of course knows how to handle his cameras, the communication with his model and the available light in different situations.

I'm looking forward to meet again.

Hello Håkon, I am keen to share my experience of shooting you, hope you forgive me for being not so prompt with sharing my feedback :)

It was a while since we had got in touch online with you and until we managed to organise our first shooting together last September, which was very memorable for me, as it was full of first impressions of visiting the homeland of magic creatures, experiencing the hospitality of your family, seeing alive gorgeous Norwegian landscapes and having lots of lovely pictures taken in those beautiful nature surroundings.

And now, 8 months later, I am happy that we could met for the second time :)

Once again, despite the weather conditions, we managed to be productive and to get a lot of awesome results that I am glad to share!

I am really grateful for the opportunity to visit your country, meet you and your wife in person, those conversations and shared memories, I always felt like being on a holiday even we had an intense shooting schedule for those few days tours.

Just one more time I want to say thank you for my first experience with workshops, that ran smoothly, for the way you treat your guests and for the chance to enjoy my stay at the koselig countryside hut with the fireplace, and the chance to see and go through all those picturesque landscapes, and to get an enormous amount of great photographs for myself😌

Today was my first shoot with Håkon and it was a remote shoot! Something I had never tried before and despite some technical difficulties at the beginning of the shoot on my end, we managed to get some really lovely shots! Håkon was very nice to shoot with and I had a great time shooting with him. I would recommend him to other models and would love to work together again, hopefully in a real shoot when its possible to travel again :)

I've worked with Håkon many times before, when I have travelled to Norway to shoot with him. Working with Håkon is always comfortable and inspiring beyond measure, and this was no exception. This shoot was different to our usual set-up, as we were shooting remotely using screenshare with my DSLR tethered to the computer - it was my first experience of remote shooting. Håkon was very helpful with any questions I had prior to the shoot, so that I was confident it could all go smoothly, and it did! Håkon was full of ideas as soon as he saw the space, and as usual we worked freely and collaboratively to create some really unusual and emotional images. I'm so pleased that even when we are unable to meet and shoot, technology has enabled us to make art together against the odds! As always, I highly recommend working with Håkon, he is nothing short of a dream to work with.

My assistant + I set up a remote shooting system, so when it came ready to test, Hakon was the first photographer who came to mind to perform a proper test.

Upon agreement to shoot, I felt confident that he would provide useful feedback and be a great moral support.

Right from the start, we took some excellent photos. He had great ideas on props, how to use the light, and gave very good direction to me and to Kerry (the assistant).

The photos were beyond my expectation and he even added many balloons (of which we had only a few in reality!) They look great.

As you will see from his portfolio and my previous references I have worked with Håkon lots previously, with great success and enjoyment.

This recent time was a REMOTE shoot in my home, where he encouraged me to to do a session to try this technology, with me in the UK and him in Norway. I was a little skeptical how well it would work but I was SO impressed! :-D

We worked together using my camera on tripod tethered into Lightroom (we since worked out how to do Liveview as well) and communicated over video call in regards to camera position, framing, pose and concept. It was so much fun and as always Hakon is a brilliant collaborator, and his style came through in the images even though he was not physically present! Amazing!!! Such an innovative way to connect and create through lockdown.

Ahh, another amazing trip to work with Håkon.

There isn't much I can say about Håkon which hasn't already been said a thousand times before. He is infinitely creative and talented, he has kindness beyond measure, he has a way of putting everyone at ease, he is all at once a teacher and eager to learn from everything around him. Every time I have visited Håkon (now three times) has been its own unique adventure. To say he is a joy to work with would be an understatement, it is a privilege to know and collaborate with him.

I also stayed with Håkon and his lovely wife Randi for the duration of my trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to all models.

I recently had a wonderful few days visiting Håkon in Norway. I had fun and we created some brilliant work together.

Håkon is someone I always look forward to working with; he has a sharp eye for beauty, an honest and considerate nature, and a sincere passion for expressing himself through the pictures he makes. This has meant that some of my very best work has been with Håkon, as he inspires me to do what I hope to do through modelling, which is to help others express their ideas and emotions. Håkon makes this possible by communicating deeply about things. He put his trust in me as a model and in turn I am able to put my trust in him as a photographer so that together we produce images which mean something to us both.

During my stay I felt extremely comfortable and welcome. Håkon and his wife Randi made me feel at home, and they are both exceptionally kind and genuine people. For models who travel or work with photographers for multiple days, Håkon is absolutely one of the best out there. He is a good host and he is one of the photographers who makes collaboration a rich and meaningful experience.

We also worked with Amethyst, we all work well together and it was a bonus with the great conversation. It is a pleasure to work with Hakon and he has great creative ideas. I visited Norway for a week to shoot with Håkon. It was one of the most extraordinary, creative and beautiful working trips I have experienced !!!

Håkon and I had been communicating for a year, either sharing ideas for shoots or a genuine love for each others work. When we finally did meet being around Håkon felt so natural, pure and we clicked instantly and it was like we had been friends all along. It also helps that Håkon and his wife Randi are super kind, interesting and respectful people - I loved sharing our interests and long talks at breakfast lunch and dinner.

On to working with Håkon - Håkon is an exceptionally warm natured, young-hearted, inspiring, creative, talented man and because of how inspiring Håkon is to be around, out of choice, we worked from sunrise to sunset every day. There was never any pressure, plenty of breaks but we did not want to stop working because the creatively brought a lot of organic energy and happy !! In between we talked for hours about life, love, dreams and passion.

The images Håkon captures are so powerful, I was in awe the whole time!! His vision of light, shapes, reflections, water, the fine details are flawless but most of all the gift of capturing the beauty of what is in front of him could make me cry (well it did).

Håkons work speaks for itself in his portfolio, all his images are so strong, emotionally, colourful and masterful of light and I am so grateful to finally have met you and be a part of your beautiful art journey. Thank you for this experience and thank you for the best moments in my modelling career. It was unforgettable.

I stayed with Håkon for a week, we traveled to many beautiful places, modelling in lakes, fjords, waterfalls, woods, moss and a beautiful house. Thank you for making me feel warm, for your generosity and considering my health, well being and safety the whole time.

Working with Hakon was one of the highlights of the year.

We shot together in Norway over three days, in a range of styles ~ from epic & sweeping landscape shots to more personal, emotional expression to playful experiments. He was inspired & inspiring at every turn.

He has a warmth and enthusiasm while shooting which makes collaborating a joy, and a kindness that inspires trust. Talented, sensitive, generous, and humane. On top of that, the images we shot together include some of my new favorite work I've ever done.

All right, I've visited Norway for the first time - to shoot with Håkon! We were talking about arranging a shoot for several months, and I am so glad we made it happen. I stayed with Håkon and his wife Randi for nearly a week and felt incredibly well looked after and comfortable. Håkon and Randi are very very kind, generous and respectful hosts and I really miss our dinners together and evening conversations as I write this.

Håkon and I worked together a lot during this time, both in- and outdoors. We usually planned the location on the day depending on the weather and discussed some ideas, but were mainly improvising on the spot.

Some of our outdoor shoots involved getting a bit chilly and wet, such as the shoot at the waterfall ;) but Håkon planned all the logistics very well and provided lots of extra warm gear, so that there was no danger of getting too cold. And the images we've got were well worth the extra bit of effort! Overall I am over the moon with the images we produced on these days! Would do it again anytime :) Thank you Håkon! My highest recommendations!

Hakon is a wonderful photographer and host, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Over the course of three days, we were able to create in many beautiful locations and did a variety of both indoor, outdoor, and studio shooting. I felt very comfortable, and I felt that my safety was always very well considered.

He clearly has a desire to create beautiful images, try out different ideas, and I really appreciated that he discussed everything with me and took my thoughts into consideration.

He was also very easy to schedule with and is concise and professional in his communications. Throughout shooting, he was always respectful and very nice to be around. He is one of the kindest and most wonderful photographers I've had a chance to work with in my career. :)

My second trip to Norway to shoot with Håkon, and just as magical as the last! This time we travelled to Vassbygda, Agdenes to shoot along the beautiful coastline and in amongst the rural landscape. Norway is such a dreamscape and I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to work with Håkon, a true artist, in such a stunning part of the world.

As always, Håkon and Randi were the perfect hosts, and while in Agdenes I had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with Håkon's friend Sheila Alnes, who made the whole trip extra special and the three of us synchronised so beautifully in our work!

Håkon is an exceptionally warm and inspiring man, and I always come away from shooting with him feeling refreshed and excited. I am always so well looked after and feel that what I bring to the table is not only appreciated but understood, in working with him. I truly cannot recommend him enough, I would work with him every day if I could!

I cannot say enough good things about Häkon. I stayed with his beautiful family in Norway and we planned spontaneous shoots over several days together. I hope to see him again and take more extensive trips around Norway or other countries together. His photography is obviously very good and his open-mindedness and intelligence and willingness to collaborate, share ideas, and keep learning is quite impressive indeed:)
