I cannot say enough good things about Häkon. I stayed with his beautiful family in Norway and we planned spontaneous shoots over several days together. I hope to see him again and take more extensive trips around Norway or other countries together. His photography is obviously very good and his open-mindedness and intelligence and willingness to collaborate, share ideas, and keep learning is quite impressive indeed:)

I have just returned from my fourth trip to Trondheim hosted by Håkon and his lovely wife Randi. These trips have become the highlight of each year for me, and I cannot thank Håkon enough for his kindness.

Shooting with Håkon is such a joyful experience. There doesn't appear to be a limit to his respect, sensitivity and creativity, which encourages such a special environment for creating beautiful images.

He provided many opportunities to shoot with himself and others during my trip, including a group shoot at a weekend away where I got to meet so many great people.

Håkon has created a home away from home for me in Trondheim, and anyone who gets the chance to shoot with him should take it for sure!

Had my second shoot with Håkon and again what a wonderful experience.

I stayed for one night in Trondheim hosted by him and Randi and they were kind and attentive hosts, making sure I was well-fed and being hugely considerate towards my vegan diet!

We shot both in his studio room and on location, battling the wind and rain to capture some en pointe shots at the end of a pier. Håkon was very mindful towards my comfort, making sure I was wrapped up warm and dry, giving me time to warm my feet up for dancing, and ensuring I was only exposed to the Norwegian elements for the shortest time possible!

Back in the studio the collaborative creative process flowed brilliantly as usual, and Håkon was energetic and focused despite having shot with another model the previous day.

I had a wonderful trip - thank you Håkon. Highly recommended to all other models :)

Håkon is one of the most wonderful human beings I have encountered in my modelling career, and a powerfully emotional, talented photographer.

Passionate and thoughtful in his work, always wanting to explore and further his skills, he appreciates the fine details, feeling and meaning of an image, which shows in the brilliant kaleidoscope of colours, shapes, textures, and stories in his portfolio.

He is always respectful, considerate and kind. I have been lucky to work with him many times now including some amazing unforgettable road trips. He is a brilliant collaborator, making me feel so valued in creative input, and perfect company for both in-depth conversations or peaceful reflection.

He has my highest recommendation, and it is a pleasure to work hard and create beautiful images with such lovely people as Håkon.

I was beyond thrilled when Håkon booked and flew me over to Norway for nine days! Nothing could have prepared me for the beautiful things we saw!

We spent the first two days at his home in Trondheim, with his lovely wife Randi. They were excellent hosts, and we got some wonderful shooting done in his studio and around Trondheim town centre. Later, we embarked on a shooting road trip across the Northern coast of Norway! It was so incredible - Håkon did lots of driving while I did lots of gazing out of the window. We waded in fjords, climbed mountains and shot in the midnight sun! It really was the trip of a lifetime, and Håkon was the perfect companion. He made sure I was well fed, and we were both inspired by each others' creativity and excitement for the surroundings.

Håkon was part of a group of 5 photographers on an event in Denmark with myself and another model this weekend! I have worked with him many many times now and can only reiterate past comments; he's one of the most creative and open minded photographers I've met and we always have brilliant sessions, always different! He was a brilliant addition to the team, exceptionally keen on learning from the others. I can't recommend him highly enough ! Considerate, genuine and truly talented.

I met Hakon at a multiple day shoot event in Denmark with four other photographres and another model.

Hakon is a very kind, quite and lovely soul. But during a shoot he has the enthusiasm of a child which sparked my own enthusiasm as well!

He looks and looks and searches for just the right image while being very patient and nice to his models. Also making sure you're comfortable and not hurting yourself while doing silly things like making a handstand in a dusty urbex type of location. I felt totally at ease and in a very happy place while working with Hakon.

I totally recommend all models to work with Hakon. You'll not regret it!

I had the privilege to spend two amazing days creating with Håkon in Iceland.

Håkon has a special talent with natural lighting, composition and bringing out intimate feelings through his imagery. Pre-shoot communication was excellent and he was both professional and simply great to be around.

We shot in various landscape as well as in his beautiful Airbnb apartment in Reykjavík. The highlight of our two creative days was definitely posing in the vast geothermal ‘’moonscape’’. The photos are some of my all time favorites and look incredibly surreal and otherworldly.

I am grateful for having shared Håkon’s artistic vision and for being part of his creations.

Simply cannot recommend him enough!

I had a wonderful weekend shooting with Håkon in two great locations. I was made to feel very at ease and I loved the way we both bounced ideas off each other as the shoots progressed.

We did a mixture of portraiture, some dance shots and art nude, and he was wonderfully creative and expert with finding interesting and beautiful light in each shot. His composition of each picture was well thought-through and his photos speak for me - always striking and interesting to the eye. He had a plethora of different ideas and each one was directed carefully, yet with room for artistic collaboration from me.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Håkon and have received some fantastic images. Both he and his wife were extremely hospitable, and also very kind in letting both my partner and I stay the night, which made our time in Norway much easier and more worthwhile time-wise. Håkon was even kind enough to show us round Trondheim in a break from shooting!

Highly recommended, and I look forward to shooting with him again in the future!

I had another fantastic shoot with Håkon during my tour of Norway, this time I got to shoot with Håkon over the space of two days, which was very enjoyable.

As always Håkon was very professional, creative and let me pose my natural styles and the sessions where true collaborations. I was taken to some truly stunning locations which really brought my creativity out especially the night shoot!

I was accommodated at his home and was made to feel very comfortable and got plenty of breaks between sessions.

Im really looking forward to seeing even more photos from our shoots and hope to work with Håkon again soon.

I had two great shoot with Håkon when he visted Berlin last month, one in a sunlit apartment and one at the abandoned hospital building in Beelitz.

We did some diverse, creative and interesting work together and I would happily recommend Håkon to other models. He has an eye for beautiful light and strong composition, and was good at explaining what he wanted to achieve in combining our approaches so that we produced variously moody, surreal, intimate, simple, complex, dramatic and abstract images in different ways. Håkon was at all times considerate, accommodating, laid-back, and gave me space to explore ideas. The trip to Beelitz was well planned, and Håkon actually arranged for us to go as part of a group tour with permission to do photography there, so it was a new experience for me as I was able to get on with modelling without hiding from passers-by. Our time together was a very positive collaboration and I look forward to working with Håkon again. Highly recommended all round.

Håkon is an incredible photographer and an absolute delight to work with. He invited me to stay with him and his wife in Norway for the second time and they were the perfect hosts. Håkon has a keen understanding of light and composition, and it is truly evident in his work. Across the two weeks that I was there we shot a range of styles, each with a lot of thought and planning into the themes and locations. With each set he produced some amazing images, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping collaborate.

Håkon was very clear with his direction when needed and often gave a demonstration of the sort of thing he was after. He was also very considerate towards me, making sure I was not too cold and had everything I needed.

It was a pleasure to get the chance to know Håkon a little better, and I feel this helped the creative process. I enjoyed our conversations and found him very easy to get along with. The trip was a great experience and I cannot recommend Håkon highly enough! Looking forward to next time :D

I've worked with Håkon a few times! He's absolutely lovely, have no issues whatsoever providing a recommendation. Genuine, respectful, friendly and funny! Håkon I noticed straight away is very artistic and has an exceptionally good eye for composition. A true artist, and gentleman, never looking for that sex/glam appeal but practising genuine "art nude" in landscape. We also tried underwater shooting and a little bit of soft/sensual boudoir - always interesting to work with Håkon. He's so full of enthusiasm and passion for capturing a great shot! He does not over-direct but always have extremely useful and constructive direction where needed. I spent a week in Portugal with him and another photographer and we had a fantastic time. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with like minded creatives in such a gorgeous setting! I was extremely well looked after (and pretty spoilt really). We also shot in a hotel in Trondheim (with a small group) and in a studio there too. If you get the opportunity to shoot with Håkon do it!

I worked with Håkon and two others at the Britannia hotel in Trondheim recently! It was fab! Loved it! He had loads of fantastic ideas and was clearly naturally creative despite being ill! I was allowed a little break often which was considerate. I think we made some beautiful images also. Looking forward to our next shoot very much! Highly recommended by me.

Two weeks ago I had the immense pleasure to visit Norway and Trondheim and shoot with Hakon.

He was so kind to pick me up from the station even though my train was late and I arrived at night, and he put me up for the three days I stayed in Trondheim. Himself and his lovely family took very good care of me and it was an absolute pleasure to meet them all :)

Hakon is very professional and extremely well prepared for the ever-changing Norwegian weather: he made sure I was as comfortable as I could be at all times, and he always helped me to get in and out of tricky places. We had a wonderful day shoot in an amazing forest, we clicked straight away and our ideas matched very well.

My stay in Trondheim was made very special by Hakon and his family, and I'm sure we've created some wonderful shots.

I am looking forward to go to Norway and shoot with him again! Til next year! :D

Had a really really wonderful week shooting with Hakon! He is a really enthusiastic, intelligent and fun person to work with! Him and his wife very very kindly put me up for the week in their home, they made me feel welcome and took really lovely care of me, making sure I was well fed and comfortable all the time!

Hakon has a great knowledge of good locations around him and took us to some really beautiful spots in the country to shoot at, he is at ease shooting in a very wide variety of locations and produces a really wonderful and varied spread of work!

Hakon is also very friendly and considerate when shooting with a model, he makes sure you are comfortable when it's cold and brings lots of lovely snacks to keep you going! While shooting he communicates well his ideas and really collaborates and works hard to achieve the best shot possible! He is really dedicated to his photography and it shows in the beautiful and incredible high standard of work he produces.

I had a really really lovely time working with Hakon, it was a memorable trip and I am immensely proud of the work we produced together. On top of that Hakon is a lovely person and someone I'd recommend to all to work with :)

I had the amazing opportunity of shooting with Hakon in Trondheim, Norway for three days and can honestly say it was an incredible experience. I was hosted for a week by Hakon and his lovely wife, who looked after me so well. Hakon is an excellent photographer and his passion for his work is almost tangible - it was a joy to be able to create images with him and to have such interesting conversations while doing so. He made sure I was comfortable and gave very helpful direction I found it great to shoot in so many different locations and we achieved a wide range of images. I can whole-heartedly recommend working with Hakon. He was a perfect host (I stayed with him and his family while in Norway) as well as shooting-organiser, arranging sessions with me both one-on-one and as part of a group at various interesting locations. Hakon is a lovely photographer to work with - kind, considerate, professional and enthusiastic with an appreciative, artistic eye.

I worked with him on an amazing workshop trip in Skrova, Norway in 2013 (along with another model & 2 other photographers) where we shot a mixture of location and indoor studio work. And more recently we enjoyed a few days working 1-to-1 when he visited the UK. We organised 3 unique places to shoot, travelled and stayed overnight in a great photogenic apartment.

Hakon is very easy to work with, and encourages collaboration, refining poses and compositions together. He captured so many beautiful images and has a very positive attitude. I would be very glad to model for him again and can whole-heartedly recommend him to others!
