I just spent two days shooting with the Fantasy Dabblers in Portugal. I have shot with them both several times previously but this was the first time we had done a 2-to-1 shoot abroad and it was wonderful! Their planning and comms were excellent as always, making the whole trip very easy to organise.

Sadly the weather was against us but both of the Fantasy Dabblers were very patient and made the most of what sunny spots we got! On the first day we managed a few different locations including some sand dunes/rocks, some beautiful lifestyle/fashion locations and some work by the pool. On the second day due to weather we stayed in the villa but found loads to do!!

The fantasy dabblers have a crazy but fun imagination and always come prepared with props and outfits, this time was no different! We shot such a variety and I very much enjoyed the whole trip! They were also great company throughout and very good at looking after me!

My second shoot with these wonderful people, this time they were kind enough to host me in their beautiful home, I had a comfortable bed and never went hungry or thirsty, Mikki and Andrew were bkth so considrate of my needs.

The shoot itself was so much fun, getting to play dress up in so many weird and wonderful scenarios. The day absolutely flew by,

I would work with them again in a heartbeat and I hope to in the not too distant future!

Finally had my shoot with Mikki and Andrew that has been in the planning for what seems like ages. Due to unforeseen circumstances the shoot has been postponed a couple of times and this couple were gracious enough to still want to go ahead, I'm so glad they did.

Fantasy Dabblers are a lovely couple who work beautifully together, they have a great imagination and brought some rather cool props with them. Communication was spot on from start to finish, they were friendly and easy to work with and I can highly recommend them.

I've worked with Mikki and Andrew several times over the last few years and have gotten to know them very well. I recently spent a week in the French Alps with them and as usually had a lovely time in their company and got some beautiful images :D

I recently shot with the Fantasy Dabblers alongside the beautiful Scarlett Fox.

As Scarlett said below, it was a great day! The Fantasy Dabblers are always excellent with communications and were kind enough to meet us at the station.

Their home studio is very well equipped and they made sure to keep us warm, fed and full of tea all day.

It's always crazy fun shooting with these two and our recent shoot was a mixture of everything from ball gowns with swords through to kitty cats! We also did some lovely classic duo sets both clothed and nude along with adding in some bondage (which was fun to take on a rigging role too!) They have some wonderful props and are both lovely people!

I am very excited for our next shoot in a few months! And highly recommend the Fantasy dabblers to other models!

Scarlett Fox

Wow what a day!

What a pleasure it was working Mikki and Andrew for the day, with the ever gorgeous Scarlot Rose :D

Pre comms were on pointe right up to the day, both Mikki and Andrew were waiting for Scarlot and I to arrive on the platform and helped us with our suitcases.

Once we arrived at their beautiful home, we were well looked after with different teas and coffees, and we were given time to settle in and get a bit of a shoot plan going, we kick started the day off with some fashiony fun and portraits and then got ourselves packed and ready to shoot down the road at a converted church, which had amazing floorboards, high ceiling, and worked perfectly for the dance shots we got through and then some medieval swords.

Once finished Mikki and Andrew made up a lovely fresh lunch for us, before we got back to shooting. Although their main shoot space is a converted garage, the space is larger and higher than some studios I have worked in, and they went to great lengths to keep us warm and comfortable during the day.

We shot a variety of sets throughout the day portraits, fashion, gowns, lingerie, and art nude, and really fun themed sets of dance, butterflies, warrior sword play, kitten play, rope work, and awesome masks.

Really thoroughly enjoyed the day, Mikki and Andrew were a lot of fun to work with, they came up with some awesome ideas, they were very quick to set up the lights, between sets they made sure we kept warm, and just felt genuinely looked after :D

Having already worked with Mikki on her own I knew we would get some great shots and have fun ideas to work on, but it was so lovely getting to meet Andrew and work with him as well. They are also both hilarious, watching them bounce off of each other :) they both got some really gorgeous shots which I’m already seeing a few pop up, and I’m very excited to see more :)

Such a groovy day, and of course they come very highly recommended and I look forward to our next shoot!

Bad Dolly

I was lucky enough to have another shoot Fantasy Dabblers, who are some of the most accommodating photographers I have had the pleasure of working with!

Shoots with this creative duo are always full of fun, laughter and crazy costumes! Each time we work together they have learnt new techniques and photography skills and we have a blast trying them out. Days go far too quickly working with F.D and I always look forward to returning for more adventures!

I had another photoshoot with the lovely 'Fantasy Dabblers' aka Mikki and Andrew this month. They are such fun people to work with, full of ideas and again we shot some surreal, experimental ideas while having a lot of fun throughout. Another wonderful shoot with Mikki and Andrew.

I have worked with them on numerous occasions now, both in studios, at their home studio and on my photographic holidays. This time was another Christmas themed duo shoot with my partner in crime Tillie.

They are so much fun to work with, it's never a dull day working with them and something to look forward to :)

I would more than happily recommend them and can't wait for all the fun and exciting trips/shoots we have planned for next year :D

Mikki and her husband Andrew recently attended a themed photo event in Bedford, co-hosted with Artemis Fauna, myself & IainT!

It was great to work with them both again. They are extremely friendly, fun, considerate and creative photographers. I particularly loved some of the surreal and artistic images we created with reflections, and some beautiful portraits in soft lighting. I can happily recommend Mikki & Andrew to others :-)

Artemis Fauna

I got to work with the fantasy Dabblers yet again! This time they both booked onto the Winter Warmer duo day with myself, Ivory Flame and chef/ host IainT!

They actually booked on while out in Fuerteventura (on one of the Luxury trips abroad) and I really can't thank them both enough for the continued support they give me, it means a lot.

The day was wonderful and I am so glad the last ever event at the Old Vicarage was this one- one to remember!

Bring on more adventures in 2018! :) :)

Artemis Fauna

I have just spent a super four days with Mikki on another one of the luxury All- Inclusive trips we run, this time to Fuerteventura.

We had a lot to fit into the days (making the most of the sunrise and sunsets) and everyone was a real trooper. We had chill out sessions each day but I spent most of that taking pestering photographers to take back of cameras (well, back of laptops for Mikki!) ;)

The images Mikki took look fantastic- I am super excited to see some more edits go up! We covered so much ground and everyone did great- spotting different angles and throwing in ideas (including mermaid tails again) Yay!

Mikki wins the award for the best Chipmunk image though!! Haha!

Can't wait to do it all over again (maybe twice!) in 2018! Thank you :)

Got to meet this wonderfully crazy lady whilst on my duo trip arranged and ran by Artemis Fauna on her Luxury All Inclusive Photographic Fuerteventura trip abroad assisted by IainT :)

Where on earth do I start with Mikki, she is an incredibly driven woman, once she has an idea she knows how to get the job done and how to do it in style! I loved her style of photography as it’s so different from angles to edits, just like her it’s a one of a kind, and it was great to work with someone who thinks ahead of time, has ideas, asks for the models input, and wants to have fun!

Mikki was a star bringing her beautiful and elegant mermaid tails for Artemis and I to play with in the waves and on the rocks which I know everyone enjoyed shooting. As well as she brought some awesome chain mail lingerie for me to work in which I loved and it worked so well for the location we were shooting on. She was always the first to be ready to get shooting, and should I dare say she had more energy than me to get those perfect shots, within our time together we shot on old river beds, beaches, sand dunes, an abandoned amusement park, abandoned bowling alley, and so much more and she always had an idea wherever we went. :)

Already seeing so many images and I can’t believe the imagination that Mikki has to create such excellent shots, I genuinely can’t wait to shoot with her again and we already have shoot ideas in the pipeline!

Such a fun photographer to work with and I seriously can’t recommend her highly enough, and I look forward to seeing what we can create together on the next time!

Mikki and Andrew; the sweetest photographer couple in the creative world who quite literally concoct the most fun and elaborate ideas to bring to live in photo shoots! I have had the utter delight of working with these lovely people 1 to 1 on more than one occasion in the past... not to mention on events: but the most memorable of our encounters so far was having them on my photographic holiday event in Crete this month. I was just bouncing with excitement when they expressed their interest in making dozens of magical images together on the Mediterranean Island: given the bountiful productivity we have had working together up to now, it was a dead-cert that some wonderful innovation was set to happen!

The communications I had from Mikki and Andrew in the organisation stages where just pristine; I was arranging the trip features myself but having the subline clear/swift comms from these guys made my job so much easier and in no time at all we were able to coordinate everything and the plans fell into place just effortlessly. They are so passionate about travelling and have their organisation off to a tee that hosting events with them (whether national or abroad) is a complete breath of fresh air... Such a well-prepped and highly professional pair and I cannot stress that enough. They were wonderful before we had even taken to the air for our event, I cannot express how thankful I am to them for this.

The true fun then began from day 1 of 3 road-tripping it and shooting around our villa on the trip itself... It was so nice having the flexibility to decide what we wanted to do each day and bounce ideas around: they brought their usual stupendous bad of goodies (props/outfits like you've never seen) and were, as usual, more than happy to work on shared inspiration and allow the epic rapport to do its thing. I find the working relationship with these guys so lovely because the shoot concepts they are game for covering stretch across so many genres and styles... They are so versatile and easy going as photographers and in a single hour we could have covered statue-esque Greek Godess, bondage bunny to pretty fashion! Every moment was a gush of productivity, every idea brought about some enchanting results! Both Andrew and Mikki have their own styles of shooting too and different creative eyes/interests so each time we did a set it was so exciting seeing the diversity they both captured utilising different angles and composition for the environment. I love the feedback that they give when shooting at it allows you as a model to adapt a pose that is working and build from that moment so your photographers can bounce back with framing and cropping etc. It really is a teamwork thing and with Mikki and Andrew that has always been the case... they both give their models phenomenal encouragement mid-set and that buzz when the killer images just roll in is what this work is all about!

It goes without saying too that through each and every fun look that I shot with these guys, their effort and care to create the most beautiful work in-camera protrudes on: It's a lot more challenging than one would think shooting in these different lighting conditions... one moment we would be out in the sun and the next shooting in shade. Mikki and Andrew are not only on the ball at working with the environmental variation with light and shadow, but superb at handling location changes/working to the landscape; they have a developed technical know-how for shooting models and think about each shot/stop on the road trips to do the moment the best photographic justice they can.

My days with them just seemed to go so quick, no sooner from picking them up from the airport it felt like we were packing up ready to leave the villa and that is always a good sign because you've had terrific levels of fun! :D And fun/laughs are an integral part of working with the Fantasy Dabblers; not only do they have the most vivid and artistic imaginations but they are the a true example of warm hearted, kind people who are completely down for giggles along the adventure and make the whole gelling process so easy. It's about making nice photos, yes... but it's about making wonderful memories too and what better people to have on board. I adore working with them each and every time, they can dress me up as a mermaid any day! :D

Really amazing people, roll on Portugal! My creative "mum and dad" as the laughs went in Crete at one of the restaurants. :P

I can't count the amount of times I've shot with Mikki & Andrew now however what I do know is that every time I shoot with them it's always such an enjoyable fun shoot.

They always come up with new crazy ideas which I love trying out. From Elves, to Mermaids to being caged with teddies and bringing out my warrior side. It's always such fun!

Recently went on the Summers Abroad Photographic Holiday which they came on and the whole time they were just an absolute pleasure to be around and shoot with. They are both so friendly, accommodating, and relaxed whilst shooting. Nothing is strenuous or hard work and they share the time out equally to ensure they both get shots.

I also had a full day at my local studio Yorkshire Studios with them a couple of weeks back which we shot through a real variety of styles throughout the day, steadily shooting, nattering and drinking tea (well water for Mikki :) )

Can't recommend them highly enough and I look forward as always to the next one :)

Shooting with Mikki & Andrew is more than a pleasure, they are some of the most passionate creative people I've had the joy of working with and their choice in costumes is second to none! With this creative duo you are guaranteed to have fun and laughs while dabbling in the realms of fantasy! The highlight of my shoot had to be wearing a mermaid tail and ball and chain, right up my street!

Cannot recommend these two enough,great photographers and wonderful company :)

I got to shoot with Mikki and Andrew on Thursday as Mikki responded to my last minute casting call while I was in Leicester.

I had such a lovely day with these two. We shot so many different styles and looks and the day flew by so quickly.

I can not recommend these guys enough: if you're looking to have an amazing day, shooting lots of ideas from classic shots to quirky and weird things, while having a laugh with two genuinely lovely people then look no further.

I hope to work with you both again soon, and the images I've seen so far are gorgeous! ♥

One more amazing shoot in the bag with these lovely people and completely different image sets bursting with creativity once more! :D Mikki and Andrew always go to inspirational effort to make their shoots interesting... It could be the props, accessories, outfits: or a full on (realistic) mermaids tail!? I love working with them because they will put their hand to any style and have such a great set of eyes between them for cracking concepts across the board. It could be elegant, it could be grungy, it could be dramatic or silly... all of the ideas I have shot with the Fantasy Dabblers up to now as just worked, and it's because they are so enthused and optimistic about trying different ideas that they always fall into place to make lovely shots as the outcome. :)

They make the best shooting team too so out of a single shoot the bouncing off one another yields so much positivity... Both Mikki and Andrew have their own styles and will capture a whole different dimension of looks each within the same set, even when taking it in turns their personal creative eye comes alive and it really is enjoyable going through all the images in review at the end of the shoot.

They are so wonderfully encouraging too and will communicate with their models throughout the shoot and give feedback when something is working well so you can explore that concept a bit further. It goes a long way having that really positive team value and our shoots have always had good vibes. Such a really lovely couple to shoot with - I cannot stress that enough! And good fun too, Andrew and Mikki both have terrific senses of humour which makes the time just fly by and they have arguably the cutest mascots in the industry (well, second to my tails the fox of course!) :P

I always look forward to shooting with these guys again in the future, there's been talk of me coming to their place before long... but now, we shall just have to look forward to a stunning few days in Crete early September! :D

Always excellent communications, always truly wicked ideas and imagination spinning on shoot sessions, always a barrel of laughs and seriously the nicest people you could meet.
