Shot with just one of the fantast Dabblers last week on a duo shoot with Bad Dolly. Although we were missing a member of the team was still a brilliant shoot. We were both well looked after as we stayed the night before and the shoot went very smoothly too. Was real pleasure.x

I spent the last week travelling through France, Switzerland and Italy on Andrew Appleton's Lakes & Mountains trip and Mikki was one of six photographers in attendance. As soon as I boarded the bus for the long journey to Chamonix, France, Mikki was the first to strike up a conversation with me, and she remained chatty and inquisitive throughout the week.

The trip presented some challenges (hours and hours in a small bus with 10 strangers, for one!) but Mikki was always ready to shoot as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Her direct and honest approach meant I always knew what she wanted to achieve and she let me pose freely in order to make it happen. Between the shoots she would edit images on her phone, look through previous work with other photographers or seek critique - she clearly takes her hobby very seriously and is keen to progress and find her 'direction'. I really enjoyed working with Mikki this week and would be delighted to do so again. Recommended.

This was 8 days on Andrew Appletons Italian lakes road trip through France ,Switzerland and Italy.

I loved working 1-1 with her we got on so well and produced some awesome shots,

I cant wait till she edits the ones ive chosen ,i love them,

We had a bit of a laugh about the fact that we have spent worth of time working together in 2018! And of that absolutely fabulous time frame: a whole week of which was spent in the ever lovely Algarve (our second week working together in Portugal that year!) with Summers Abroad. It was nice because it meant we had 2 3-day sessions shooting together with the locations and themes that had been put together for the event so we could have brain-spins as to how to approach it on the second session and ideas would come to light. As always it was a lot of fun, creativity and social laughs to spend an extended period with this amazing couple along with other colleagues whom are also friends... It was just a thoroughly enjoyable week making more memories along the way!

The event had set times matched up with the locations visited so it could be early morning on the beach or afternoon at the lovely villa in which we all stayed together... But each shooting session had it's own spark of creative opportunity and craziness! Having worked with Mikki and Andrew so much now, it's a blast being able to get right into the mix and cover the elegant beauty right through to the mad and fun looks. They are game to capture the whole spectrum of beauty across the styles and always bring such amazing props and accessories/garments themselves, going to great effort to match-up what they bring with what is achievable at the environments we're shooting within and what suits the models. There is incredible spark in their passion for photography and it shows when they shoot and the lovely feedback they give their models in the process.

They are always welcoming of models bringing their own ideas to the table which guarantees that same epic team value which has always been present when working together. I think each and every shoot we've had feels more like a true collaboration than anything in fact! They communicate brilliantly before an event if there is something specific they want to achieve, but it's always nice to come up with on-the-spot ideas too which occur routinely due to the freedom and positive openness of working with Mikki and Andrew.

Always totally professional in their approach with every single style they shoot, always a great laugh no matter where or when, always come loaded with enthusiasm for the shoot/event and always highly recommended by me. :) Another cracking week spent in good company, ingenuous shoot ideas, tummy-tickling laughter and teamwork vibes.

They are genuinely a wonderful pair and I cannot wait for our next shoots right after one has just finished! The back of the camera reviewing is fun... There's normally too many shots to love! That's the problem! :P

Thank you again for another amazing week in Portugal in 2018! ♥

Summers Abroad

Mikki and Andrew have joined us on both our trips abroad this year, in fact they have been on every trip we have ran so far and are on all our upcoming trips too :)

They are fantastic company and are genuine, friendly people. Having worked with them for a few years now I’m always more than happy to have them join my trips abroad. I know they will always treat myself and the other model booked on the trip with respect and kindness which makes my job organising and running the trip a lot easier :)

Look forward to having them join us in the future and would highly recommend them, not only to models but studio owners and event organisers!

Fantasy Dabblers came along to Tillie's model day with us, shooting a variety of sets including aerial hoop. They are both lovely creative photographers and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended to all and welcome back any time :)

Bad Dolly

Another fantastic shoot with the epic fantasy dabblers, this time with Jezebelle too! The dynamic duo were on top form as always with an array of fantastic scenes, costumes and ideas. A full day seemed like a couple of hours we were having so much fun with the various sets and outfits. Wonderful people, creative and inspiring photographers and all round good eggs :)

I got to shoot with the delightful duo that is fantasy dabblers again after quite a few years - safe to say, they are ever so lovely to hang out with and wonderful to shoot with!

Epic hosts can also be added to the list and so can the fabulously fun ideas that they had in mind to shoot myself & Bad Dolly together!

The images and bts videos look amazing so far, I cannot recommend these fantastic photographers enough to all models 😊

I had my first shoot with Fantasy Dabblers and it was amazing!!!! They helped me fulfil a lifelong dream of becoming a beautiful mermaid, we shot a ton of really gorgeous bondage shots amongst some other really exciting and fun ideas.

They were so friendly and accommodating whilst I was with them and made me a delicious lunch.

Communion before the shoot was great and direction throughout was spot on.

Altogether a brilliant day film of lots of fun and laughs! I would very highly recommend working with them if you get the opportunity and I really hope I get the chance to work with them again :)

I had an absolute ball working with Mikki and Andrew on our recent Photographic Trip to Portugal.

Mikki and Andrew are Lovely, Kind, Friendly, Interesting and Genuinely Nice people.

I really enjoyed their company both whilst shooting and in the time out around the Villa and during Mealtimes.

Our first shoot was at the Estuary with the stunning Keira Lavelle and I. Here we shot some Beautiful Fashion shoots at the Waters Edge, as well as on board a Rowing Boat that we managed to snatch from a local man for a few shots. :D We then headed over to this Amazing Bridge to shoot some Funky styled images, with the leading lines from the Bridge adding to the images.

Our next shoot was at the Lake. It didn't look like it was going to happen as the Weather was a bit dire but we all stayed in high spirits and hung on and Voila, the Sunshine came out for us. Here we got some stunning images in the Lake playing with the Reflections both solo and duo with the beautiful Keira Lavelle.

We also managed to get some Amazing images on the Bridge at the top of the Lake this day and a few Boomerangs of course ;)

Our next shoot was Solo at a Beautiful Little Town called Silves.

Here we shot Fashion at a few different locations and caused quite a stir, playing about with a pair of stunning Isis wings that Mikki and Andrew brought along... We even stopped and had a coffee break that Mikki and Andrew kindly paid for. It was an absolutely fabulous morning and I really enjoyed it so thank you very much :D

In the afternoon we shot in the Villa, using the pool with the Mermaids tail. I absolutely loved this shoot. I had such fun. I even learnt that I could swim underwater like a Mermaid without my hands and Mikki kindly recorded a Video, that I adore, as she had brought her Underwater Camera.. Well that was it then, I was in love with Underwater shots... My mind was whizzing with Creative ideas underwater. The next stop had to be Fashion underwater :D I therefore put on my red dress and we created some of my favourite images of the trip. Absolutely beautiful, delicate, romantic shots at the surface of the water with the sun causing beautiful multiple reflections.

Again, the next morning, Excitement whizzed as Keira and I got in the pool. This time for an amazing 'Unicorn Battle' which was a great story telling series. We had an absolute ball haha. It was hilarious. We then got fashioned up and got back in the Pool. After Keira taught me to clear my lungs, I managed to get to the bottom of the pool with Keira and we got some gorgeous duo Fashion shots that morning also.

I am very happy with how these images came out and they turned out to be some of the best I have had taken on the trip. It also helped me to grow in Confidence with Water so I really appreciate you working extra hard Mikki and being in the Pool for so long during these shots.

Our Afternoon Shoot was a really fun one at the Sand Festival. Mikki and Andrew hired a beach buggy as we drove around looking at all the Outstanding Sand sculptures and stopping off as and when to get some Fun shots of Keira and I replicating the Sculptures :D It was a really fun addition to the trip that I will always remember so thank you very much for taking us.

Our last shoot was at the Abandoned Factory. This was a duo shoot with Kiera and again, we got some fab images. These ranged from Headshots, Shibari, Fashion, Lingerie to Nude as well as an awesome Cosplay Kung Fu Battle between myself and Keira using a Nerf Gun and Bug glasses provided by Mikki and Andrew.

All in all, the Trip was a total success and I'm really glad I had the pleasure of meeting Mikki and Andrew. I can't wait to work with them again in Crete. Thanks again Mikki and Andrew and see you in October :D

If you get the chance to work with Mikki and Andrew, jump at it. You won't be disappointed. Great fun will be had.

Since first meeting Mikki and Andrew a few years ago, I have had the pleasure of working with this lovely couple several times - we've enjoyed a number of single day shoots which always involve bouncing some fun ideas around... They have even welcomed me to stay at their home whilst I have been on tour in their area. It's always bursting with creativity on a shoot with the Fantasy Dabblers, they have their own lovely studio space which I have shot at myself where we got some cracking results, but they are always game for travelling and getting on-board with different events/shoots and that is what happened during our most recent time working together...

Mikki and Andrew joined Renaissance and I in the Algarve for our self-run one-to-one photographic trip this spring/early summer. Having had a wonderful time in Crete working with both of them last year, it was a really amazing to have then on board for Portugal where we got the chance to do yet more different looks including duo shots which resulted in the making of some of my favourite duo shots to-date! The format of our trip meant that Mikki and Andrew actually came to join us for their week in the middle of the full 10 days that Renaissance and I were doing in-total. As such, it was all-go! Mikki and Andrew had a mad schedule themselves and were barely getting any rest time in-between trips/shoots/events so full respect to these guys for managing it all because I know myself how draining it can be at times when you are smack-bang in the middle of a period where everything just seems to be coming at once! It's not just the actual being out and doing the activities that takes energy but the meticulous planning too. These guys are troopers!

We had a great few days as a full group when everyone was on-site at the villa at the same time and got the chance to mingle in the evenings when we all went out for food. The small group number was just right so we were never too far away on the table to catch-up and "get to know you" because although I had shot with Mikki and Andrew several times, they met Renaissance for the first time and had kind of met the other photographers in passing on other events so it was just nice being able to all chat in a comfortable group and laugh about all sorts before we got back to villa and got set for the next day of shooting. The last 3 days of the trip that we had working together were the exclusive 1 to 1 days after the other photographers had departed for home, that was really lovely because it was a chance to wind-down just a little bit for me and Renaissance and we could focus carefully on what we wanted to do/where we wanted to go and bounce ideas around. As always: the Fantasy Dabbers are the most organised creative people when it comes to bringing fun props and outfits! :D We produced some genuinely stunning quality photos of artistic and stylish merit throughout our time working together on the trip, but we also had a lot of "quirky" and "crazy" opportunities too such as making good use out of the very impressive graffiti at one of our urbex locations, the models having a "battle of the unicorns" in the pool with the cute inflatables that we matched up and even getting expressive with sand sculptures at a very unique and creative display that was being held not far from where we stayed. I genuinely feel that having the chance to work one to one (or two-to-two) with Mikki and Andrew gave us a lot of valuable scope to do something different... For example; even though the sand sculpture event was a definite no-go for anything suggestive or nude, it gave us the chance to come up with some creatively-matched looks and ideas with styling. The Fantasy Dabblers as a photographer team have a LOT of appreciation for different styles and genres and will give a lot of effort and drive to get something out of every opportunity which opens up a lot of doors for great image opportunities that you maybe wouldn't be so suitable for a group. But just being able to get that ace rapport going with these guys really does make the shooting time shine: they are very patient and appreciative of the efforts models go to... A fine example being when I was spending a bit of time to do a very elaborate makeup look just to add something quite different to the mix, and when we tackled the underwater sets and experienced unusual weather change which took away the (required) bright sunshine for a short time... Yes, it can even happen in sunny Portugal! But we were able to just seize that moment when it came and the results totally spoke for themselves. :)

A genuinely lovely couple with big hearts. We chatted about literally all-sorts in the evenings until our vocal-chords could take no more and had no shortage of laughs from the word go. They were in on the "surprise" party I conjured up for Renaissance's Birthday mid-trip and were always in and out asking if they could do anything to help as I ran around like a headless chicken preparing the dinner and taxiing people to/from locations. Their communications have always been the best too and I cannot thank them enough for this... The running of the trip once you are out there kind of just flows with the hectic-ness, but the many hours of admin and planning that goes into these trips (whilst still doing heavy admin for other/regular modelling tours etc.) is just crazy. When you've got photographers so pristinely organised like Mikki and Andrew however, this does take some weight off in the planning stages and they have always been absolute gems with their swift and on-the-call comms. :)

Misuzu

I had my second shoot with Andrew and Mikki on Monday. They responded to my casting call for the bank holiday weekend and it was a fairly last minute shoot that was arranged with ease.

I absolutely love shooting with them. It's always fun and packed with lots of crazy ideas. There are always so many options with all the different outfits and props they have, each set was totally different. On top of the shoot being a good laugh, Andrew and Mikki are both such lovely people. They're kind and considerate. I felt very well looked after while I was there.

We did a mixture of shooting outside and in their home studio. We captured so many different themes and styles during the course of the day. Like last time, it was a lot of fun!

I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and would be happy to recommend them to any model. I look forward to seeing you both again in the future! :) x

What a fabulous Duo Mikki and Andrew are. Shot with them for 4 hours and the time just flew by! Was such great fun, lots of laughs and brilliant ideas. They look after you and even feed you!

Had a fantastic day with Andrew and Mikki as I knew I would.

I had seen their creative pictures on twitter and have always admired them. When we finally set a day for shooting I was over the moon. The actual shoot didn't disappoint.

Communication before and the during the shoot was fantastic and they had so many ideas. I really felt at ease and was able to add my own touch to the shoot.

They are enthusiastic and make the day so much fun. The day went by way to quickly!

Lastly they are just wonderful, lovely people.

I would recommend Fantasy Dabblers to any model.

Had an awesome first shoot with Mikki and Andrew last month, what a lovely fun shoot it was, we did a range of themes and I was working allong side the gorgeous Sophia smith :) the weather was great so we went outside for some images too, they made us a yummy dinner too, can’t wait to work with them again hopefully soon and would 100% recommend them to any model :) thanks for booking me xx

Mikki contacted me as she had seen I had some availability and since her & Andrew were down in my (new) area, it was the perfect opportunity to shoot at a stunning location (Thurston Lodge).

I have lost count of the amount of times I have now shot with them both, which in itself speaks volumes. But they are ALWAYS professional, kind, friendly and a pleasure to be around.

Mikki and Andrew both have their own styles within their photography and so it never gets boring or repetitive. I feel I know them both now well enough to know what they like to shoot. Both are very enthusiastic throughout the shoot & always capture something new and different.

I can't recommend them enough and I can only look forward to our next encounter and adventure :)

Had another wonderful shoot with Mikki and Andrew at their home, this time a full day 1-2-1 shoot rather than a duo shoot with my model wifey Tillie haha!

It was a super relaxed day and it was really lovely spending the day with them both. Plenty of tea breaks, lots of fun ideas and then a good nitter natter over a gin in the evening as they were kind enough to let me stay with it helping with my tour :)

They are such a lovely couple and really look after you well!

Highly recommended and can't wait to host them on another of my Summers Abroad holidays :D

Bad Dolly

I was lucky enough to have another fun filled day with FD! This time I had a range of cosplay outfits that I was dying to shoot in and they very kindly obliged! Of course they had lots of fantastic props to use which really set the scene and bought my costumes to life. This dynamic duo just get better and better, always learning always improving but most of all always FUN!

They also let me stay over and are so accommodating, never a dull stay with these guys! As always super duper highly recommended and cannot wait for more fantasy dabbling later in the year!
