It is always a pleasure to have Darryl in the studio. A top class guy, genuine, decent, extremely friendly and not to mention an absolutely brilliant photographer too.... just look at his port!!!

I always look forward to the outcome of Darryls work especially when he has been shooting at the studio, he is a very creative talent. Any model working with Darryl should count themselves lucky he is always professional and respectful and produces some amazing results.

Darryl is such a lovely person and was a true pleasure to shoot with! He was very considerate, paying for a taxi to and from the station, and made sure I was warm and had plenty of hot drinks (always great when you're used to freezing studio conditions). I really enjoyed working with him, he had plenty of amazing creative ideas, and really knows how to work lighting and camera angles. The photos so far look really amazing! I'd happily work with him again any time.

After admiring Darryls work for some time I finally managed to shoot with him! Darryls pre shoot comms were great and I new exactly what we would be doing an was expected of me on the day. Upon arrival I was made to feel comfortable and at ease, Darryl was accomadating and a good host. He's professional throughout the shoot, respects his models highly and is an all round great guy. The edits are unbelievably amazing and to say I'm happy would be an understatement! I can definitely reccomend this photographer to any model and any other creative. Such a great guy and shoot.

I approached Darryl due to the skill and talent that can be seen in his work, and after agreeing to shoot together we looked through some ideas; settling on a main theme of a Carravagio shoot with a Vettriano theme. Firstly, I've never had such a painterly/artistic brief before which was a great experience, secondly the moodboard that Darryl set up was instantly loveable, and recognisable. After much discussion we managed to get Laura Draycon and Tia on board, along with Saracen House studio.

On the day Darryl was absolutely superb, taking my horrid train delays in his stride. He is warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable, and within a few minutes of our first 'play around' shoot I could tell that we were going to get amazing results. By the end of the day, what with rearranging sets, shooting well in excess of 1000 images and managing the whole team he was quite rightly tired; and yet we had an edit almost immediately.

The edits back are absolutely amazing, his portraiture work is second to none, but if/when you shoot with him, don't just stop there; Darryl has a wealth of creativity and ideas that are absolutely fantastic.

I highly recommend Darryl, and am looking forwards to working with him again,

Bad Dolly

Working with Darryl is a models dream. Firstly, he makes huge cups of tea. Secondly he has a big fluffy cat. Thirdly he is talented, creative and relaxed. Every time I come back from Milton Keynes I have a confidence boost, his shots are gorgeous and he uses gentle helpful direction to get the best from the shot. I trust his ideas completely and I'm pretty lazy, I just leave it up to him and I know I will be over the moon :)

This was our third shoot and although it was only short we got some cracking images that I'm really pleased with. I am so pleased Darryl shoots me and lets me make a mess of his house and eat all his eggs, if I ever want to try something new or different for me Darryl is my first port of call, always :)

It was my second shoot with Darryl, and I hope there will be many more in the future :) Always great communication, he's very easy going, professional, must be the most patient photographer I know and an amazing host, always making sure everyone has a cuppa and is comfortable in his home studio. Darryl works very well in a team and is always open to suggestions and ideas. He never takes too long before uploading the edits to the Dropbox, which is always appreciated. Highly recommended :)

I absolutely love working with Darryl! This was our fourth shoot and probably my favourite so far. We spent a good while chatting with the MUA (the awesome Miss Eva) about looks and ideas, and Darryl even made a backdrop especially for the shoot. He also let me stay in his beautiful home while I was on tour and fed me gorgeous food, which was very generous and much appreciated. Darryl is creative, hugely talented, humble, funny and just a joy to be around. I can't recommend him highly enough and look forward to seeing what we get up to next time!

I honestly cant believe how much time has passed since our last shoot in 2016 but once again Darryl has blown my mind! I adore working with him and the images he creates are some of my favourite to date!

This time we shot at his studio, Big shot near Milton Keynes. Darryl had a few ideas he wanted to try out that were more fashion and portrait to start. We wacked on some good tunes and had a great time playing with a fan and a lovely soft portrait set up. From there we moved onto some quirky fashion black and white looks to boudoir and then gel lighting with a nice twist. For our last set Darryl let me play with my makeup to do a high fashion macro look. It was the perfect end to a perfect day!

darryl is professional and fun to work with, he delivers high quality fantastic images. I cannot recommended him enough. If you haven't shot with him yet do it! You will not be disappointed!

Wow should not leave it so long to shoot next time!

I worked with Darryl for the first time and truly hope, not the last one :o) He is great both in his work and as a person.

Leaving a lot of freedom of choices for every member of the team he managed to combine all the best ideas in amazing pictures.

He also has an outstanding editor and the first retouched pictures we received just a couple of hours after the shoot. He made several setting with different backgrounds, lighting and props within a very limited time span and we got a real diversity of images.

Darryl is a great fun to talk to and the atmosphere in the studio was very relaxed and creative. Thank you for your time and fantastic results! Looking forward to work again!

Big Shot Studio

Darryl hired out our studio yesterday for a shoot. Darryl was really friendly and a genuinely decent guy. He was respectful of the studio and the equipment and I felt completely happy to leave him alone to get on with things. He was professional in his approach with the model, MUA and the designer. I would certainly recommend Darryl to other studios and models. He is certainly welcome here anytime.

Had another brilliant shoot with Darryl and this time we managed to get a team together that included Darryl, myself, a designer and make up artist. We all got along extremely well, had great conversations and most importantly we all got amazing results!

Darryl is not only a great photographer he is easy to work with and on every shoot we have done has given me exactly what I was after and more.

Bad Dolly

Darryl very kindly put me up over the weekend and we shot together for an evening...WOW.

It's only my second shoot with Darryl but it feels like we've been working together for years, he seems to understand what I was looking for in the images and helped me push myself. When our shoot finished I was absolutely buzzing, I felt totally inspired by the way Darryl shoots and shot after shot I was just thrilled!

I blame Darryl 100% for the fact I have come back from Milton Keynes with a much bigger head than I had before! I can't explain how much I enjoyed working with him. He is a wonderful host, a talented and unique photographer and genuinely one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of knowing.

Without turning this into a total cringe, there are no words for how much I enjoyed shooting together and I really can't recommend him highly enough. Legend. Nuff said.

I'm not sure how many references Darryl and I have exchanged now but I just wanted to say AGAIN how amazing he is!

He is so fun to shoot with. So much so, you already know you're going to get amazing shots before you even turn up for the shoot!

Darryl is so relaxed, easy to get on with and makes all models feel welcome and relaxed. We always seem to have a good laugh but always get through sets productively and at a good pace.

This certainly won't be the last reference I leave Darryl. He such a good photographer and chum too!

The second I saw Darryl’s work I knew I had to message him and politely demand a shoot. Anyone who comes out ‘Most likely to be found passed out in a lift in a Dixons office poll’ is someone I know I’m going to click with right away, and I wasn’t wrong.

He is so much fun to shoot with, we put on some Slipknot and got going! (He does have lots of music if this isn’t to your taste). Darryl is so relaxed and easy to get on with you can’t not enjoy the shoot. He met me from the station so I wouldn’t have to get the taxi alone and we had a good natter. After a few “normal shots” we did some creative things and I’m sure in most of them will be laughing, I had a really great time.

If you get the chance to work with Darryl, do. He is highly recommended by me and I’d work with him again and again given the chance!
