Im a Fine Art photographer - no wait - that sounds pretentious... Art Photographer?? No, artist implies some kind’a intellectual ideas....

Hell knows what I am.... Analogue film photography and printing guru, if your definition of ‘guru’ is ‘haphazard results’ often ‘plain rubbish’ with the ‘odd diamond’.

I only work in black and white, I heard people can take colour photos these days but that sounds like the devils work. I shoot every idea with one shot, if it all goes tits up.. well thats what the film pixies wish.

For me the thought of photoshop is too much like being at work.  If am not wearing nitrile gloves and checking notes from an 1864 photography manual with a red light in a blackened out toilet - pretending to be some crazed chemist - it is no sport.

I work full time designing buttons, handles, twiddly things and shiny stuff. I have only one day a week for photography - that being sunday. Cursed with lazyitus, trying to get off my arse on sunday morning can prove difficult but always rewarding. I often feel I could be so much better if it wasn't for the lazyitus, but alas, its how it is. I also read a lot, I seem to of amassed a photographic library so big nothing else fits in the room.
