Extremely sad news to hear that Laura is so seriously unwell. Although I can't say that I know her personally; I do recognise a few of the images that have been displayed. As usual the support shown by the PurplePort community is fantastic to see, and we hope that the awareness this thread raises helps her - even if only in a small way, to reach her target required for medical treatment.
