References for Steve Westwood

Steve was extremely kind to book me recently at The Hacienda in London where I was raising money for The Haciendas charity "Shelter from the Storm" which is a homeless charity based in London.

Steve kindly booked half a day with myself and the studio and was such a pleasure to work with! We hadn't worked together before, so I am always a little nervous but needn't have been! Steve is SO down to earth, kind, sweet and a gentleman to work with always making sure that the model is comfortable and has plenty of breaks.

I really enjoyed Steves company and conversation- and the shoot was FULL of laughter! It was a relaxed but productive shoot and I loved the results! I look forward to seeing more!

It was a pleasure to meet and work with this lovely photographer during my studio day at Pozers.

From the moment he arrived I felt at ease with him, and very relaxed in his company. We only had two hours which seems to fly by way too quickly for my liking but, we did fit in three different sets as well as having plenty of tea breaks which was totally necessary. :)

I enjoyed looking at the results on the back of the camera, I felt that Steve took fantastic images and he was also eager to hear my input which was greatly appreciated. I did think that we could have done so much more if only we had more time.

I do hope to work with Steve again. I would also highly recommend him to all!

Its always great to see Steve and we often bump in to him at the Purple Port socials, So it was with great pleasure that I was able to have him as a student on my recent Hacienda lighting workshop.

Steve picked up all the principles very quickly and was soon churning out some great shots.

I highly recommend shooting and working with Steve he is a great guy and super friendly and so easy to get on with.

I know Steve quite well from various socials and we always have a natter. I consider him a friend, but I finally got to shoot with him when he booked onto mine and Simone’s Lighting Outside The Box workshop exclusive to the Hacienda studio, London this weekend. Despite having not used loads of flash in the past, Steve produced amazing results and was a valued member of our small group!

we have met a few time on Andrew Appleton workshops,

he came to my model weekend at upper mills studio,

And wow what a fantastic guy,

we worked so well together and got some fab images,

i have seen 2 which are awesome and i cant wait to see more.

I got to shoot with this awesome gentleman again on a recent location workshop - and what a joy he is to work with....

Steve is so polite, main concern is for the model and their welfare, as well as being full of wonderful ideas - he directs beautifully, giving fabulous feedback and had me giggling throughout!

The images he's put up so far have been absolutely amazing, he's really manipulated the natural light fantastically and he's a whizz with editing - I can't recommend this lovely photographer to all, Steve is just such sweetie and just wow with natural light (you would never guess this was his first workshop on location!!), what an absolute legend :)

Working with the wonderful Steve recently was a dream!

I got to shoot with the lovely Ali Brooks, and Steve captured us perfectly, with plenty of enthusiasm that had me giggling throughout the shoot - what strikes me about him is that he is one of the most genuine people I've met and is such a joy to work with, whilst coming up with such stunning ideas which are so much fun to put into practice!

I cant recommend this superb individual enough to y'all and am hoping to shoot with him again very soon =)

I had the most fantastic time working with Steve and his friend/sidekick/photographer Jim last month at his home. I had such a lovely day that it really wasn't work at all. Steve is a wonderful host and talented photographer and he took some beautiful images during the day.

In person he is equally lovely, friendly, funny and very easy to get on with :D He took some brilliant images and clearly is passionate about his photography. Had my second shoot with Steve on Monday, this time I actually made it to his home! Albeit with an hour delayed train! I really cannot believe our luck with trains when I am trying to shoot at his home with him haha!

Anyway this time I actually made it, and despite the train delay Steve was in a bubbly mood when I met him and understood completely. We managed to get all the ideas he had for the shoot done which was great, and he even left time at the end to look through the images on a big screen :)

It's a total joy working with Steve, he is a lovely guy and hope to see him again soon!

After having a shoot booked in at the start of July and not going ahead thanks to a cancelled train, Steve decided to make the journey up North instead to shoot a full day out on location in my neck of the woods :D

We had such a fun day, hitting a variety of different locations all with a different style. He treat me to a lovely pub meal half way through the day and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him!

Lovely person to be around and already have our next shoot booked in for when I next visit his area :)

Looking forward to it already - and heres to no more cancelled trains haha!

He arrived on time and his pre shoot comma were excellent!

Steve gave great direction and knew exactly what he wanted to achieve.

The initial images look excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending him other models!

Steve is such a delight to work with; highly professional, friendly, very well organised and respectful, with great communication and clear creative ideas.

I felt like I worked with him a hundred times before, and I cannot wait to to work with him again!

Steve was professional, well organized, with great communication, clear ideas, respectful to models at all the times, easy and pleasant to work with!

He has a lovely personality to match as well, which makes shooting time really enjoyable.

Had my first shoot with Steve today and what a pleasure it was. He is a lovely guy and so easy to work with. Pre shoot coms were spot on so I knew the sort of images Steve was after and was able to sort out costumes and props to suit.
