Matt was incredible his creativity is just brilliant all his ideas and the ideas he uses to create an image are all so very exciting

Aswell he is an extremely good well knowledged photographer.

I got along really well with Matt lots of laughter and chatter and he's great at directing a shoot too.

This photographer is absolutely faultless! I overall really enjoyed this shoot and we got some great images!

I worked with Matt at the OpenSpace studio last Sunday for the first time and I hope it won't be the last! Indeed, I really enjoyed working with Matt during those 2 hours that flew by! We photographed a wide range of styles, from beauty to fashion, against different backgrounds and lighting. Matt came very well-prepared with a variety of great ideas in mind! He is also a very pleasant person to work with. I would love to work with Matt again and hopefully take some dance shots as we haven't had time to do that and he seems to be very good at it! Matt and I worked together for the first time at Studio fifty eight recently :) it was a pleasure. Matt was clear about what he wanted to get out of the shoot, and had a great balance of giving direction and letting me get in the flow of posing. I felt comfortable and the shoot went smoothly. Matt showed me the back of the camera during the shoot, which is always helpful, and I think we got some awesome shots! Can't wait to see the final images.

My first time working with Wildcard and hopefully first of many :) This was a bit of a 'test shoot' at a very new studio he had not used before. The time flew by and was filled with laughter and good conversation. He is a lovely person and clearly knows what he is doing!

First time shooting with Matt during my tour down at Studio Fifty Eight and all's I can say is WOWOWOW! Matt was an absolute pleasure to shoot with. It had been a while (dare I say over a year?!) since Matt had shot in studio, but he was off and away with no troubles :) We focused mainly on dance images, looking at flowing movement, flowy shapes and dynamic jumps. Especially with the quicker dance moves, Matt was so on point with the timing, making my job easy :)! Matt really prides himself in attention to detail, including getting the lighting just right. As a self-confessed perfectionist, this is a quality that gels super well with me! Overall Matt was really friendly, kind, patient and easy-going. He was very mindful of all my jumping about and making sure I had enough energy for the whole day. I cannot wait to see how the images turn out- they looked absolutely spectacular on the back of the camera!

Absolute gentleman, highly professional and really wonderful to shoot with :)

Matt was such a joy to with Retro Rob and myself at Open Space Studio, we hit it off straight away! The shoot flew by and we covered a range of dance styles from tango to ballet!

Matt was so enthusiastic and came up with some fantastic ideas. I really like his eye for detail and he knows the shots he is after.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt on my studio day at openspaces.

Matt came prepaired with ideas and a plan of images and lighting he wanted to create during our time. He has excellent knowledge of lighting set ups, needing little to no help setting up various lighting. We smashed though what he had planned and did a couple of funky and creative sets towards the end of the shoot. Matt is great fun to be around, whilst being professional throughout.

I hope I get another chance to work with him :)

OpenSpace

Matt booked the studio for the first time, bringing his own model, for a dance themed shoot.

The session ran very smoothly with Matt knowing exactly what he wanted to achieve and it was a complete pleasure helping him creatively. Matt is such a gentleman, as well as being a fine photographer, and showed abundant patience, kindness and respect towards his model and ourselves!

We would have absolutely no hesitation welcoming him again and highly recommend him.

Matt booked me at Natural Light Spaces for a ballet and dance themed shoot, he came with lot's of ideas printed out and a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve.

Matt was very hospitable to me jumping around on a hot day and ensured I had enough breaks and water!

I was really impressed by Matt's ability to capture the jumping shot's almost every time and straight away, his background in sports photography really showed and meant we could just rattle through several different poses!

I loved what I saw on the back of the camera and really look forward to seeing the final images!

Sugar&Spice

Matt came to my house for a very last minute shoot and we had a wonderful time!

Organised, well-prepared and friendly, we experimented with various lighting set-ups, backdrops and looks.

Professional, friendly and courteous, our shoot was fun and easygoing. Thoroughly enjoyed looking through BOC images and pleased with the results, so highly excited to see the edits :)

Matt Smith is a excellent and creative photographer. He knows what he wants from a shoot and also very much takes on broad what the model wants too.

Delivers great direction and will make sure you are completely comfortable.

I couldn't recommend Matt more... purely awesome.
