I spent a wonderful four hours working with Richard and Ray at their studio in Wilmslow this afternoon, producing a set of photos on the theme of "The Body as Landscape."

Pre-shoot comms were impeccable - we discussed the brief on the phone a few days prior and I was sent a call sheet and several pages of reference images the night before. They were crystal clear about what they wanted, which of course means I was in the best possible position to give it to them.

They were happy for me to arrive a bit early to get ready while they set up, which gave us a chance to get to know each other and dispel any remaining jitters. When we got to shooting, they worked in a very methodical way and allowed me to really investigate each of the ideas, pushing and developing each of the poses until we felt we had exhausted the possibilities. I love this detailed way of working and from what I saw on the back of the camera the results will be worth the effort.

The studio is very spacious, well lit, and equipped with a excellent range of equipment. It's also conveniently located very close to the railway station, local shops and cafés.

Richard and Ray were super professional and totally charming. I'd be delighted to work with them again on another project and can thoroughly recommend them.
