Hi there, thanks for visiting my little corner of PurplePort!

I'm back! For just a few months, I am back in the UK before heading off to perform at sea again! Who wants to shoot?

A bit about me...

I trained at an elite vocational ballet school for 6 years, before joining the prestigious Birmingham Royal Ballet as an apprentice. I since joined Royal Caribbean International in 2019, and have spent the last few years travelling the world dancing jazz and musical theatre shows. Alongside my dancing career, I have a strong interest in fitness and the gym. My past work includes classical ballet, dance, physique, duo and water shoots, as well as dancing in music videos, and filming exercise videos. You may also have spotted me on the BBC's Young Dancer Competition in 2017! 

I am NOT your stereotypical "Skinny Ballerina"! My physique is strong and muscular (which I love!), and I love when the right lighting shows off my definition and hard work! I am versatile, but much prefer strength and power shots that show my athleticism to simply doing the splits! (See my portfolio photos, they speak for themselves!) I am trained to a very high standard, and am a true working professional in the dance industry, so with me, you're getting the real deal. I am strong, knowledgeable and will be able to dance in pointe shoes, bare feet or heels for all shoots and filming.

When making an enquiry, feel free to let me know any location/dates/hours etc that you have in mind. I tend to be free on weekdays, but please drop me a message to discuss availability. I try to keep my PP calendar updated with bookings. 

Please get in touch to discuss rates. My level of training, technique, and years of dedication to dance are reflected in my rates. I am always happy to negotiate on a case to case basis. I occasionally do TFP if I think it will be beneficial for my portfolio, but please do not be offended if I decline your offer for TFP. 

If booking for a studio dance shoot, I would highly recommend booking at least 4 hours to allow maximum time for repetition of complexed poses, outfit changes and plenty of time for trial and error!

 

The small print...

*I have done Art Nude and implied nude in the past, but I am very selective with who I work with for these projects, and usually work with photographers several times and establish a good working relationship and level of trust before this type of work. (Even after working with a photographer for a long time, this by no means guarantees any progression to Nude/Implied. It is at my discretion if I feel comfortable).

*Levels- (see above point). I will not shoot anything which could be deemed as sexual or inappropriate, nor anything showing my nipples or genitalia. This includes Adult, Nude, Topless, Implied, Fetish, Lingerie etc. If this is in any way unclear, please ask for clarification. 

*I will usually come to a shoot alone, but sometimes if I'm working with someone new or travelling to a new place, I may like to bring a friend along with me, but this will always be discussed beforehand. 

*Believe it or not, as far as dancers go, I'm not the most flexible! 99% of the time I will give things a go, but if I think attempting a pose will be dangerous or put me at risk of pulling a muscle or rolling my ankle, please understand that I cannot afford to get injured, so I will suggest moving onto a different pose. 

*If a shoot requires repetition of big jumps/leaps, I will require regular breaks in order to maintain my safety, energy levels and technique of the pose.

*For day shoots (8 hours), I will require a lunch break of 30 minutes, with a short 15 minute break either side. (This will be beneficial for both of us!). For half day shoots (4 hours), short breaks at your discretion will be much appreciated! 

*I always kindly ask that my travel expenses including Uber/train/bus fare (and accommodation, if necessary) are covered. I will usually ask for this once a shoot has been confirmed so that I can get things booked.

*As I take public transport to shoots outside of Birmingham, I prefer to take payment via Paypal or Bank Transfer. Please let me know which of these methods you prefer, and I will send my details a few days before the shoot (if you don't already have them). I will ask for payment of the agreed rate on the day at the end of our shoot. 

*We're all human, and things happen that are out of our control, but please let me know as soon as you can if you have to cancel our shoot. Unfortunately, if you do cancel a booked shoot with less than 72 hours notice, I will require a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed rate, as I will be unlikely to be able to book another shoot. I also kindly ask that I am reimbursed for any train tickets I will have already purchased.

*If for any reason I have to cancel, you will be immediately refunded if any payment has already been made to me, and we will discuss an alternative date.
