Verity Jane

Hello my name is Verity.

I have worked as a makeup artist for 16 years, and have a degree in makeup artistry and Special effects.

I am someone who is hardworking, passionate and enthusiastic about all things beauty and makeup.

My knowledge of special effects came in use when i worked for twinlakes' scare fest and i have also worked with "amputees in action". 

I have worked in various theatres shows with varied roles i have been a dresser, makeup artist and hair stylist. I loved the atmosphere, busyness and velocity of the theatre it was really enjoyable.

I loved bodypainting but sadly do not have any bodypaint equipment anymore.

In the past i have done fashion shows, creative shows and photoshoots.

In 2011 i won the bridal award for best bridal hair and makeup.  

The first 4 years of my career in makeup artist I spent freelancing and the last 12 of those years I have worked as a makeup artist and a manager for premium cosmetic companys and have loved every moment of it. 

I now have a 2 year old son and I am currently pregnant with my second on the way. I haven't done much freelancing since I started working in cosmetics.

I have also recently moved across the country and sadly I no longer have an up to date portfolio to display my work or abilities.

I'm looking to update my portfolio and work with other creative artists to create beautiful and creative images to start my new career as a freelance makeup artist. 

I am currently available on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays.
