References for Utopium

Richard recently replied to a casting I posted for retouching work on a series of images I had taken. His communication was excellent, even giving advice and support on how to develop my photography for further post-processing in the future.

He worked really quickly and always kept me posted on his progress, producing wonderful images with extremely detailed retouching.

I cannot fault Richard's work and would highly recommend him to any photographers or models wanting images of an extremely high quality. Thank you so much for all your hard work Richard.

I had a brill shoot with Utopium yesterday. He arrived well on time and came very prepared. We got through a variety of ideas and the 6 hours flew by!

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the images and definitely recommend to all models!

Had a brilliant shoot with Utopium for 6 hours at the Little Chelsea Gallery.

His pre comms were excellent- loads of cool and quirky ideas. :)

He was really easy to work with, very chatty and the day really did fly by!

We got some really cool shots ranging from fashion through to surreal art nudes, all working beautifully.

Richard really deliberates with his lighting ensuring its right for the setting, you can tell that he really has a love for photography and getting it perfect.

He's a really nice person too, fun and delving into all sorts of interesting topics all day :D

Highly recommended by me and really looking forward to working with him in the future

I worked with Richard recently for six hours at The Loft studio in Colchester.

Richards Pre Comms were excellent and we arranged our shoot with no problems :)

Richard was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off which was so helpful! On the day we had a few briefs to work towards and I really enjoyed our shoot. Richard was relaxed, thoughtful and such a pleasure to work alongside.

Highly recommended!

We had an 8 hours shoot at my flat, but he has so many great and creative ideas, that the time was flying by.

Richard's work is very unique and he has a very great personality too!

I had the most amazing time yesterday shooting with Richard at my place. He had so many probs, lighting, background etc and we tried out so many great and creative ideas. As you can clearly see above Richard's work is just so outstanding and unique! Richard was very professional but also had a really fun bubbly personality which made the shoot fun. My third shoot with Richard and this time outdoor using some fun narrative type themes :) as before, it went really well especially considering the confines of a car can be limiting in terms of light and posing, we managed to rock thru a bunch of different looks and get some brilliant captures. Stayed with Utopium over the weekend to shoot and absolutely loved it!! This was my second shoot with him, and as before it was a pleasure. Now I have also stayed with him I can vouch for the fact he is super trustworthy and completely respectful, always was mindful of my comfort and really great company too. His experience infront of and behind a camera shows in his photography - he isnt afraid to think out of the box with ideas and also has a vision of what he wants to create which helps a model focus on what she does best; pose :) We are already planning our third shoot which I'm really looking forward to. Highly recommended!

Shot with Utopium recently at my home, and would highly recommend him. As a person, he was relaxed, easy to chat to and down to earth - I felt quickly at ease in his company which made it easy for me to get into the 'flow' and mood of each set we shot. He was completely respectful, and communicated his ideas clearly.His experience in acting is a bonus as it comes through in his direction, and ideas - he knows the value of a 'story' behind an image, and/or a 'mood'. He has a great eye for composition and form, and really captures expressions very well. His pre-comms were great and he was super organised with a mood board and notes which really helps any shoot get underway and stay productive :) We worked on a range of styles and I really loved what I saw on the back of the camera - hope to work with him again soon!
